Apparently he showed up late to his physical, then to a team meeting then no showed on two workouts at the team facility.
I can't recall anyone else drafted as highly as him that made absolutely no effort whatsoever and completely mailed it in the second after signing the dotted line. Incredible.

Something something change of scenery.
I actually laughed reading the thread title but damn, this is just sad.

I’m still amazed that the owners don’t have some language in the contract of rookies to protect them from something like this happening
What concerns me is how in the world JRob or even people at Georgia didn't catch this.
Like how can you miss all the red flags!!

agreed, gotta be some type of grievance or legal process to compensate with a pick or get rid of that $4m dead cap... thats a lot of money with this years tight cap space
We should sign him to a big, 100% non-guaranteed deal, then immediately release him.

You can't see inside someones head.
The fact that john robinson couldn't take him to the bar and really get to know him due to covid. Bars are open again, shouldn't see another blunder like this anytime soon.
Happy Birthday, Dumba$$ Panda. We should sign him to a big, 100% non-guaranteed deal, then immediately release him.
How was no one able to detect this before the draft? I know he had to party his a** off in college. It’s really sad you think the kid would get help and grow up.
People can say there were red flags all you want (despite nothing similar being reported before he was drafted). But there is no way possible even his worst critics saw this coming. This is a guy that has absolutely zero desire to play football. He may have some mental issues he needs to work out. I doubt it's simply maturity issues. Even the most immature guys want to make money and even if he just faked it, Miami would probably give him a chance to prove them wrong.
Isn't his family wealthy? So, now it appears we fleeced Miami... sad, but not surprising that she was dropped. Maybe someone in his circle can help him. Sooner or later he will run out of his signing bonus and the party will come to a screeching halt.
I heard that somewhere but could have heard wrong. It was a concern - that since his family is well off, he doesn't really need NFL money to pretend to be a celebrity and party.
Even guys like Dwayne Haskins, Johnny Football, and Jamarcus Russell at least feigned interest in playing football, despite them being more interested in partying. So I don't think it's simply a party attitude that's the root of his issues.
Kids going down in the history books surely. What a waste.
Nobody will even remember him a year from now. Very sad.
So...
Can we get a sportsbook bet going on how long it is before he's found dead in a puddle of his own vomit in some shady hotel?
Mark me down for 6 months...

Dude got 6.5 mil at signing and it went to his head.
To be fair, it would be hard for me to show up to work if I knew I had 6+ mil in the bank.
