Week one will be forgiven and forgotten if the Titans stomp the Colts and put our hated rivals into an 0-3 hole that will be next to impossible to climb out of. The defense will continue to be a problem this year, but there is renewed hope in Downing's ability to call a game after making some nice adjustments and really laying it on Seattle in the second half with two backup linemen playing on the left side. Despite AJ Brown struggling the offense brought it in one of the loudest and most difficult environments to play in.
I think the defense will get it together. I'm more worried about the line.
Actually a bunch of positives from the defense despite giving up some big plays. The DBs just need to get on the same page.
Yeah, outside of the two blown coverages, they played very well. Obviously 2 blown plays for 14 points is a problem though.
The pass rush is much improved. The secondary will get there. If we can get Farley up to his potential, this D could be nasty down the stretch.
The talent is clearly there on defense, and as someone else said, the issue is the team playing together and being on the same page. That stuff will get worked out.
We should curb stop the Colts. I definitely expect a win. Our pass rush will be all over Eason. The last two weeks we faced very mobile quarterbacks, and actually got home a lot this week. Eason is a statue and he is going to be in trouble a lot.
Yeah, if you take away the two big pass plays, a blown coverage and a missed tackle, Seattle had 14 less points and I bet Wilson has barely over 200 yards passing. We shut down the run all day and we’re good against the pass for the most part.
Hell they got another 7 points on a turnover inside the 10. We were three big plays away from blowing them out. Nothing went our way and we still won.

Yeah, real penalties that get called aren’t really things going your way. They just are a part of the game.

The defense looks much improved. And that’s with having a ton of new starters. By the end of the year I think we are looking at a top half of the league defense (at least).
