Nah. We are having to play soft coverage because of our DB’s lack of speed. Hard for safety’s to make plays when they are 20 yards off the LOS. But he definitely should still be playing better than he is. He’s missed a lot of tackles this year too. He’s usually one of our most sure handed guys.
This one is a head scratcher for me. He missed an easy int opportunity yesterday for too much focus on his man and zero on the ball. That’s Fulton’s issue too, needs more ball awareness. He played at a very high level in the SEC so I am hopeful he improves soon.

Dropped INT are going to happen unfortunately. Can’t expect them to get them all. Only issue I would have had is if we drop an INT and the pass still gets completed. But that play Byard was going for the tackle and last minute realized the ball wasn’t caught. Tough bang bang play.
In the second half, I think they just wanted to give their fans a collective heart attack. God did the D go to utter chit. That said, I never feel out in a game. And on queue, Tannehill drives them down the field and Clutch Brown reals in the TD on the line.

He clearly doesn't need money. So I wonder if he sticks around here instead of going somewhere to be a HC. He's been with the franchise forever, moved up the ranks and got rewarded. I'm sure he'll get offers, just fingers crossed he loves it here and is like McDaniels and would prefer to stick around and succeed vs going somewhere else that is likely in a worse spot, given they're hiring a HC.

This. It pisses you off when it happens to you. But when it's your coach who's smart enough to exploit the rules, it feels great. He's done this different ways multiple times, and I love it lol.
Kinda like hating a player because he's hard to play against. But you'd love to have him on your team. I'm thinking hockey specifically, but it's universal.
