It’s only been a one game, and they knew we’d be leaning on 22. I won’t be concerned til I see this continuing after 3 games.

His attempts have also gone up. Can't expect 5ypc on 400+ runs. Plus Henry has always been a grinder that wears down defenses and then pops the big runs late. Also, I'm sure his week 1 stats have been pretty bad every season. The Titans aren't known to come out of the gate rolling.

Nothing to do with the topic. Just gotta say, your avatar. Man it's one of the best on this board.

From what I am seeing is he is dancing too much. It doesn't help that the line is shit and allowing people into his face in the back field. But even on those runs when he has an opening, you don't see him plant and push forward, his still jittery.

There were plenty of times, vs the Giants and last night, were if Henry made a cut back he had nothing but green grass but he didn't, he chose to hit the wall. He made these cuts before the broken foot, I think it's mental thing with him and his foot he's battling right now.

The announcers last night summed it up: if Henry’s feet stop behind the line, he’s done.

This is a combo of crap run blocking and Henry not being close to what he was before injury. Even when there was space, he sometimes lacked the burst to get to it before it was gone.

All we can hope for is that this OL improves as they gain experience working together and Henry returns to form.

Yup, and also like they mentioned, we kept letting unaccounted rushers through.

Also one thing to point out is Buffalo did an amazing job of tackling. Noticed Buffalo defenders never tried to square up with Henry, every defender dived at his legs. When you're almost 6'4" and run like Henry (not shifty, but long strides), that's something he's going to have to learn to adapt to and possibly change his game especially when he's getting no help from his OL.

Tackling so far has looked like the 2018 D. It’s been real bad

Besides the O-line looking like a crab pot being pulled out of the water, the tackling is what upset me the most. I couldn't come away from that game with one positive thing to say. Looked, smelled, and tasted like shit in all aspects. I stopped watching early in the 4th when the rookie was put in, and we weren't having him pass the ball. Should have had him sailing it or throwing picks.

The tackling on that 1st bill TD to the FB had me steaming. Look like amateur's out there.

I think Henry is fine... If the OLine will stop letting 3-4 in the backfield.

At one point last night he was tackled in the backfield like 8 out of 13 times or something like that... Hard for ANY RB to do anything when they're being tackled before they can even get going.

Telling when the announcers are baffled by free rushers being in the backfield every play. Lots of communication issues plus a rookie and backup on the OLine didn't help.

On one play, 3 Titans whiffed on blocks allowing Henry to get tackled in the backfield

At some point the staff and FO need to be held accountable for the crap product on the field as much as the players

It's the only reason why I miss owners like Bud and Al Davis, when the product went to shat heads would be put on notice or roll.

Keith Carter has to be fired. I am amazed at the people who defend him and act like our O-line has been adequate. It has been crap since that man has arrived and will be crap as long as he is here.
