I love it when that happensKyle Vanden Bosh had 4 career sacks and one season with more than 13 tackles when we signed him.
The KVB signing was the free agency equivalent of when your coworker gets an extra McDonald's biscuit in the drive thru and gives it to you.
Clowney is a whole different level of name and talent than anyone that has signed here before.
The organization has never even had a #1 overall pick on the roster since it moved to Tennessee, and the last time I can figure out the org has had one was when they drafted Earl Campbell.

Having a #1 pick on the roster is meaningless (normally you have to really suck to have any). Potentially having Clowney, Beasley and Landry on the field in sure passing situations is insane and then add Simmons to the mix to take up blocks inside. We basically had two guys in Beasley and Landry who had 9 sacks last year and added a disruptive force that helps make them and Simmons even better.
By this logic, Yancey Thigpen would be the greatest FA signing in Titans history.hence why I said Clowney isn’t the biggest signing unless he takes us to the SB.
also, KVB and Mawae helped made our dline and oline elite and we were SB favorites in 08.
That was directed at the dimwit. Not your post.Hey, Rock8titans. Do you not understand I posted what some dimwit posted on twitter trying fake out Titans fans? This isn’t a troll post. Step up your game.
You saying he wasn’t? LolBy this logic, Yancey Thigpen would be the greatest FA signing in Titans history.
That Randy Moss guy was pretty good before Tennessee too.
What’s crazy about a thigpen signing (or the other dozen or so big name WR) is at the time, no one knew that WR were destined to die in Tennessee and that money should never be spent on them.
A few years later we look at the “gem” WR signings of Justin Gage and Nate Washington as the “biggest WR FA signings”.
12 gauge broke his back here... respected his play! Get what ya saying thoYou saying he wasn’t? Lol

I’m glad we have a GM and scouts that know how to draft and manage the cap now.
Well the dimwit didn’t get the negative rating...That was directed at the dimwit. Not your post.

No problem. Now we just have to wonder if last years first round pick was a waste.Accepted! Thanks! And yeah, that guy would have put things in a tailspin around here with that tweet.
We have to find a way to keep him beyond this season. He wrecked havoc in the first half and will continue to wreck havoc.. Finally have a TRUE pass rusher.
Dude is especial fot sure even when he tackle or ran the run way on play action you can tell Denver was aware of him.
He was doubled most of the second half after pressuring the QB so much in the first.
47, 76% of defensive snapsHow many snaps did he play?
