Umm, I know the game itself is a joke. I'm just curious to see how big the spare tire has gotten. A leopard never changes his spots, and I wonder how much of that one season committed to "fitness" has stuck. Assuming he busted his *** to stay in shape this season, January was his first opportunity to slack off.

I imagine he has slacked of a little bit and is a little bit out of shape. But he wont have to run much(no blitzing and a good OL) and he wont have to play the entire game

sorry but what a waste to send Mcnair to the Pro Bowl. You have to look at what he did this yr not past yrs and based on that he didn't deserve to go. Oh well nothing like getting recongized for practicing 1-2 days a week :sad2:

Over a day and half to jump in and slam #9- you're getting slow Ewk.

what can I say I have actually had to work the past few days :ha:

I don't think it is slamming when you speak the truth :brow:

It's not like the Pro Bowl is a serious contest anyways...
... it only is to Manning. It's the only very late January/February football he will ever get to play.

He'll show us all... he's not a choker... 5 TDs in one half will shut us all up. :winker:

I am glad to see a Titan make it but what did Steve do this year?
Not much with rookie WR
3000something yards 16TDs and 11INT
Hardly ProBowl numbers but with the inuries at QB, he gets in

McNair Joins KVB in Pro Bowl

SUMMARY: Titans QB Steve McNair was added to the Pro Bowl roster as an alternate after Denver's Jake Plummer and Pittsburgh's Ben Roethlisberger became the latest two AFC signal-callers to pull out of the game. He will join Colts QB Peyton Manning and Kansas City's Trent Green on the AFC squad. "It's a great opportunity to be part of the Pro Bowl," said McNair. "Anytime you get a chance to compete against the best in the NFL, it is certainly something you look forward to." McNair became the second Titan to join the AFC squad as an alternate, joining defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch — who replaced Miami's Jason Taylor.

Vick would've gone anyway, because according to everyone but us, he is God incarnate. It's idiocy. He is a running back who throws occasionally.

The NFC is really hurting for QBs and McNabb was hurt this year. Thats the only reason Vick is going.
Brad Johnson? 12/4 TD/Int diff, 1885 yards and a 62.6% completion... Damn, that sounded more impressive before I cited the figures. lol
He had my vote. :))

Hey steve gets a freebie...

So what he was absolutely robbed of the pro bowl in 2001 and 2002. Look steve had the 10th best passing rating in the afc and realistically was maybe the 8th best QB over all. In an ironic twist it is steve's durability and health that gets him to his 2nd pro bowl outlasting injured players like leftwich, brees and palmer. Hey steve didn't play that bad this year it's just that most of the better QBs in the nfl are in the afc and the titans have been horrible for 2 straight years.

As for the nfc, jake delhommne is probably the 5th or 6th best QB in the game right now and the idea that vick would be voted ahead of him suggests a system flaw but hey mcnair got jobbed out of the 2001 pro bowl in favor of the legendary kordell stewart.

One major problem though. We are trying to reneg mcnair's contract and negotiate a new contract for KVB. Now both have a little more negototiating leverage.
