I don't think we have any wide receivers that are athletic enough to go win a matchup against a cornerback. Even Marcus Johnson has that speed and athleticism. So you pretty much have scheme people open and be perfect in execution. That's a tough ask.
Anyway....
- team ran the ball well
- Colts took a loss
- a bunch of playoff contenders will lose next week
- should theoretically get healthier

And Golden Tate has two weeks to get up to speed.Julio Jones, McMath and Cruikshank are all eligible to return from the IR against the Jags in Week 14.
Evans, Long, Tart, and Davis, were not put on IR so they could come back at any point. Hopefully, the bye week will be enough for them to recuperate.
In week 15, Dupree is eligible to return against the Steelers. In week 16, AJ Brown and Chris Jackson are eligible to return against the 49ers.
Tate might be out. A lot of people reverting back to PS after the game yesterday. And Golden Tate has two weeks to get up to speed.
Why?Tate might be out
Numbers. Players reverting back to PS after the game. Why?
He may be better than an other of the WRs not named Nick, Dez or Chester. Not sure I understand your point why he wouldn’t line up to play.Numbers. Players reverting back to PS after the game.
Him and TJ Watt hanging out in COVID Reserve status.
Best time for it.
:disappointed:
Bourne better get tested. Byard was all over him on the first TD catch.
No one touched him on the 2nd so any Covid he caught had time to leaveBourne better get tested. Byard was all over him on the first TD catch.
Ya, wouldn’t have even got in trouble about lack of mask. That was just disgusting “D”.No one touched him on the 2nd so any Covid he caught had time to leave
These guys getting back after the bye week against the jags would make a huge difference. The late bye sucked, but it might just be the best for this season. Other teams will get more injuries, and we will be getting rested.Julio Jones, McMath and Cruikshank are all eligible to return from the IR against the Jags in Week 14.

Interesting. With all the injuries I didn't really consider that some of the guys (Landry) are playing through injuries as well. I've never seen anything even close to this in the NFL. And how is this happening to us, while the Colts are fully healthy? Seems statistically impossible.
Landry wore down last yr as the season went on....IMO we really need to watch the snap counts on him, Simmons, and Autry....need those 3 to have burst come playoffs.....of course it isn't easy to rest them when the offense can't get us a big lead.
