Lasers is his worst album to date, it's not even arguable in my opinion. Even Lupe doesn't really like Lasers, other than All Black Everything it's pretty mediocre if you ask me. I want more stuff like this from him:

Meh... that's his type of stuff that really just bores me to death. He doesn't put anything in to it.
Some rappers need more pop styled beats, and Lupe is one of them. He just doesn't have the delivery it takes to carry an album full of generic underground beats.
He's always been a great lyricist, so I've wanted to like him... just couldn't really get in to his monotone flow while the beats were the same.
His new album though... he actually switches it up. It doesn't sound like the same song over and over again. Plus- he needs an album like Lasers where he cans till deliver what he wants, but more than 10 people will listen to it. It shows he actually can be a commercial artist.
