Classic one dimensional offensive game. If the run does not work, this offense is dead. I'm sorry as long as this staff or team DNA is run run run, it will never have any sustained success. Neanderthal football has been dead for years. You DO NOT WIN IN THE NFL without a modern passing scheme.
When the opposing team decides to sell out to stop the run, the Titans are freaking clueless. Sitting here watching them continue to try and run with 8 and 9 in the box with constant run blitzes is insane. They have nothing in place to counter this.
The passing scheme is a joke. They do nothing to scheme open receivers. AJ Brown was let go because he told them it was crap and it hurt some feelings. Ever heard of slants and rub routes? Audible to where the blitz is coming from? They rarely have more than 2 receivers on the field at once? Do they even have 5 receivers on the squad for 5 receiver sets? Spread out the defense and maybe Henry could run the ball. This run run run and then throw it occasionally only works IF THE RUN GAME IS WORKING!!!!! Sometimes you need to pass to open up the run.
Vrabel is a good coach but his offensive IQ is -50. He brings in OC's with IQ's of 10. Arthur Smith was the exception and he was snapped up because other organizations realized that he could run a modern offense inside the constraints of an organization hell bent on playing 1940's football.

Arthur Smith was not the exception. It seemed that way because Henry broke LOOSE at the time Smith was OC. Tannehill had his best season of his career, not because of A Smith but timing and a lot of help from Henry.
If our D can't win games, this is going to be very ugly.
