DHop is still under contract.
With all the cap space that we have we don't really need to push his cap hit further down the road.
I would wait and see what happens with FA and draft before even considering extending him.
It is also nice to have extra wiggle room with contracts in case a good player becomes available right before the season or during the season.

Money 2. Stability/Certainty. And if you cannot provide number two, you are going to have to pay a hell of alot of number 1........
And if we have to go that route, we aren't getting every free agent favorite & the kitchen sink......

Absolutely no reason to rush to sign a RB in a class that includes Henry, Saquon, Jacobs and others. And yet...
