Just when you think these numbers couldn’t get any worse.
PFF was blaming Marcus last night for holding onto the ball too long. Basically most of their writeup on us was about how bad he was
A, that post was made before the Jax abortion.
B. While the D did well last night, mostly, the only bad position they were in all game came from ST (AJ25). They still got a big goose egg in the sacks department and were gifted a few drops by Jax.
Mariota/Mettenberger took 28 sacks in first seven games of 2015 (4/game). That got Whiz fired. Vrabel is in NO TROUBLE. But his priority is clear. Mariota is taking 5.7 sacks a game through three.
