--Had 6 catches on 7 targets vs Butler, for 92 yds and TD. Butler picked off the other target.

Strange rise in penalties for Titans Rashaan Evans this year considering first two seasons:

2018: 0 penalties in 15 games.
2019: 3 penalties for 31 yds in 16 games.
2020: 8 penalties (team high) for 79 yds (team high) in 15 games.

Week 16 update

Henry / Cook
1679 / 1484
+ 98 / + 73
1777 / 1557

The lead grows bigger with 1 week left and a 220 yard lead. I think the rushing title is in the bag but unfortunately the GB catastrophe seriously put a damper on the possibility at 2K.
If it matters, BDH did run for over 200 last time against Houston and the year Jamal Lewis broke 2K, over 500 yds came against the Browns.

223 is a very big game and I would love him to get a 4 TD game as well to break Earl's single season TD mark too, but both are asking a lot.

Well, Henry has the title regardless now. Cook's father passed away at 46 and he is going to miss the Vikings game against the Lions to be with his family in Miami.

That sucks. 46 is young and I know Henry was going to win anyway so I don't think anyone would bring up the 1 less game for Cook when it's all said an done.

Didn't see anyone else mention it but last week THill threw for a measly 121 yards.

That put him at 3603 and the new Titans (not franchise) record holder for single season passing yards. I think our first 4K QB is out of the question but I suppose a 400yd game isn't impossible.

Previous 2K backs final week of the season:

OJ - 34 carries 200 yards, finished w/ 2003 (only 14 games)

Barry - 23 carries 184 yards, finished w/ 2053

TD - 29 carries 178 yards, finished w/ 2008

Jamal Lewis - 27 carries 114 yards, finished w/ 2066

Eric Dickerson - 26 carries 98 yards, finished w/ 2105 (reached 2K game before on 27 carries 215 yards)

AP - 34 carries 199 yards, finished w/ 2097

CJ2K - 36 carries 134 yards, finished w/ 2006

Barry had the least final game carries w/ 23, CJ2K had the most w/ 36. I expect to see Henry somewhere in the middle but he would have to have the highest amount of yards to reach 2K.

Cook missed 2 games this year

His avg yards per game was 111.21
22.29 avg carries per game
4.99 ypc avg

so he would have potentially finished with 1779 yds

Derrick Henry’s season stats...

• 1,777 rushing yards
• 5.2 YPC, 118.5 rush YPG
• 114 receiving yards
• 15 touchdowns
• 978 yards after contact
• 29 broken tackles
• 1 fumble

The #Titans are the only franchise in NFL history to have two players rush for 2,000 yards (only 8 total) in a season.

Derrick Henry- 2,027 (2020)
Chris Johnson- 2,006 (2009)

Also the only franchise with multiple players above 1900 with 3 including Campbell

One of the best things about henry, is his character. Always highlights his teammates first, his insta post is of him with the oline saying '2k o-line'.

He's not a showman, but a humble dude. He probably left $2m per year on the table with his deal, which now looks like even more of a steal.

he's not just a beast on the field.
