I thought it became an option for this upcoming year.
Looks so silly. I might be done with the NFL if players start wearing those in the regular season.
I agree BUT I can imagine if social media existed back in the 30’s, it’s possible the same conversations took place when the leather helmets were changed to full helmets with face masks.
I didn’t hear much throughout the alterations of the “regular” helmet and going to these soft covers will open a lot of complaints.
I think it’s the future though, probably happening 100% before too long.
Here’s to hoping they can figure out a better looking design.
