Quessenberry was in for the long final drive of regulation and for the OT drive....held up fine. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t our starting LT against the Colts.

Damn more injuries?! LT no less ... I knew the Titans should have DRAFTED a LT in the 1st round ... why didn't they take a LT in last years draft?!?! We sure could use one now!

The Quess didn’t allow a pressure during his 18 snaps, I feel like Wilson would give up 18 sacks in 18 snaps. We did try out a former Patriot today though...

Im cool with Ryan being replaced, he fell off last yr and lost us the AFC title game

But TBH I think JR managed the off season at RT and CB fine

Sucks injuries have held both those rooks back
Not sure it’s injury holding Wilson back. Injuries haven’t helped, but maturity and lack of dedication are hurting him too.

We should have kept Conklin and drafted a DE in Rd 1

I uno easy to say that now ... Tanny and Henry had to get their $$ dolla dolla bills. Still money was left on the table elsewhere - but too many big names on this team had walk years at the same time - Conklin was the casualty.

We spend 21 million on Clowney and Beasley...yes hindsight but I'd rather have paid Conklin

I don't honestly think Conklin would have been the difference maker in any of our losses so far. Kelly has been respectable.
Letting Conklin go was the right move, I think. Picking up Clowney, Beasley, and Gostkowski have been big mistakes, though. No doubt.

Drafting tubby in the 1st round, and the other non-factors in this year's draft is a problem, the FA pickups have been a problem, for sure.

What I'm trying to get at, is: It's not the people JRob let go, that are the problem.. it's the people he acquired.

But yeah, you're exactly right though.. any contributing player they could have spent 21m on, would have been a better contributor than these two. Maybe it's just me, but the pass rush seems to be better when Clowney's out. And we know it was better with Beasley out.

Hopefully at least one of these players from the 2020 draft turn into players.. not looking promising. And someone mentioned taking McDonald, who didn't play a down in the NFL, over taking a swing at a Kicker, after last year.. unforgivable in hindsight,

Yep, Clowney and Beasley were mistakes.
Wilson was drafted in a way because we let Conklin walk..if we kept Conklin, we could have gone DE or OLB instead of Wilson.
Drafting McDonald was stupid as well just to turn around and waive him. Blankenship would have been a smart pick in the 7th

All of this is clear in hind sight, but at the time all the moves JRob made were reasonable and most here supported them. They didn’t work out, there have been injuries, it happens. We could have signed Conklin and could have gotten hurt playing in one of our games. And the first round DE or OLB might not have worked...then people would be saying we shouldn’t have signed Conklin and drafted his replacement...and signed free agents at DE/OLB. It’s easy to say “we should of”, but we don’t know how that would have worked out either. It could have been as bad or worse.

Of course its hindsight...it was a simple statement that we should have kept Conklin, it wasn't critizing the FO...shit happens, but as fans that's all we have for discussion sometimes is hindsight.

To say Conklin could have got hurt or the pick we took instead of Wilson could not have worked ...that's as irrelevant as hindsight

Gotta remember though when conklin came back from his injury he never seemed to be that pro bowl tackle we had before. He seemed somewhat slower and less committed to going in for blocks.

Granted, knowing what we know about beasley and clowney we should've kept him and kept Kelly for rotational or injuries and not draft Wilson but who knew conklin would improve a lot from last year, clowney would get put on IR and beasley would be a lazy cunt
