I get where you're coming from but the pics should be different. PUBG should have a super angsty 20 year old who is too cool for Fortnite. Then just a regular person on the other side who isn't too cool, just knows a well made game and isn't afraid to be made fun of because of its art style.
Firing up Dead Island on my PS3... been a while.
Frankly, the atmosphere and pace are great. It's not entirely a hack-n-slash game. I play it "realistically". Carefully move through and avoid where I can... the audio, screeches and screams off in the distance, is great.
Very satisfying when I swing my modified cudgel... the zombie explodes and a volley of body parts go flying back.

I'm not too cool, I play both, but pubg is better
Fortnite is so popular because it free lol quit kidding yourselves. Pubg is okay, the potential is high for it to be a great game. Its just I have no confidence in Bluehole to actually get it straightened out. Once one of these big developers(EA, Dice, etc.) make a battle royale game from the ground up optimized for xbox/ps4 its game over for pubg and fortnite. Guarantee we hear something at E3 this year. Also saying PS better than Xbox thats a joke, owned a ps4 and it sat there collecting dust, their exclusives are boring nothing worth owning the system.
i would be perfectly okay with a new game replacing pubg if they don't get their shit together. however if it's EA no one will play it anyways.
No doubt about EA they ruined what little reputation they had left with Battlefront 2. Was just using them as an example. There's also that one battle Royal game I forget what it's called but it uses the cloud technology and has 400 players at one.

Ya true but are they in the BR format? Not yet, Paladins is free Xbox game, they announced a BR mode coming. Fortnite his hot because the BR game mode is blowing up and its free. All the kiddes just have to install no purchase required. Ive ran into 2 kids on pubg, one was my son.

pubg is an actual military-style game while fortnite is a kiddy arcade game
pubg > fortnite
sea of thieves > no competitor

I didn't check pugb but SoT has been getting average reviews.
