He played with Lamar Jackson at Louisville, maybe Baltimore was going to draft him in the 5th or 6th and JRob wanted to out smart the Ravens and snag that much anticipated WR

Riddick said he needed to develop his route running, but route running is supposed to be his strength. Uh oh. All said, Corey Davis never really got separation, and we already have a burner, so getting a guy who can stab at passes should be enough to work.

Well he should have taken Amari Rodgers in the 3rd and Monty Rice at this spot...tick tick on JRob...

Agree I'd be happier with that too. This trade virtually negates yesterdays move. I don't like trading up on the whole - less darts to throw at the board..

Hopefully we're all wrong.

There's probably 3 or 4 WR's better than Fitzpatrick at this point. Probably wouldn't be as bad had we stayed put instead of trading up for him. I can 99.9999% guarantee you he would've been still sitting there with our original 4th rounder.

Oh I agree...should have stayed put in the 3rd and taken Amari Rodgers or Wallace in the 4th
I would get on the phone with NYJ and see what they want for Crowder

It’s no secret that Tennessee desperately needed to address the wide receiver position, but doing so here at Pick 109 with Fitzpatrick isn’t an immediate fix. Fitzpatrick wasn’t even inside the top 300 on PFF’s Big Board, and the Titans traded up to get him. He has good size and speed but was such a boom-or-bust player at Louisville, posting receiving grades between 65.5 and 76.0 in his career. That’s his ceiling in the NFL.

Really don't understand why we're getting caught up in where these guys are ranked pre-draft. Jrob has been pretty good in the later rounds and this guy has some positives like very solid athleticism & high deep ball success.

Well, so much for JRob following PFF draft board

Every prospect has positives

he could have been there in 5th ,6th or 7th and if he wasn't? I doubt it would make a big difference to our WR group...it was a desperate reach pick

It’s not so much the pick, but giving away picks when you don’t need to.
