I think he would have somewhere between 950-1100 yards here, which is great for us, but wouldnt have made any major changes to our offense. We would still end up being a .500 team and one and done in the playoffs. Instead, we just might not make the playoffs and be a .500 team. Either way sucks.

AJ brown the type of talent that makes everyone around him better though. Even if he only had 1000 yards, our offense would be functioning significantly better if he were here.

but he’s not here. And the person responsible for him not being here is no longer here as well. Are we going to keep harping and whining about this trade for the next 5 years, cause guess what. Brown isn’t going to be here for those years either.

It happened, it sucks, but we can’t just say”damn, we changed our minds, take backsies.”

Totally. He requires additional D resources to limit him, which makes it easier to run or throw to TE's. It's spilled milk- he's gone. So is JRob. We won close games last year and the year before because Henry could crank down 5 yards a carry late in the game. Now he's on the sideline because we're trying keep drives going with 2 and 8 or 3rd and 7. No D coordinator is afraid of NWI.

It is simple.... if you have a guy that can win one on one matchups then you do all you can to keep him because he forces the other team to scheme to stop him which makes it easier on everyone else.

Still doesn't want to play for the Titans.

He has as many yds as the entire Titans team or very close to as many

I don't give two shits who he wants to play for. He wouldn't have said no to 20M+ which we should have paid him. He was under contract for at least one more year and we could have tagged him too. If he threw tantrums and tanked his stats or refused to report, then he loses all his money.

The NFLPA is right when they say the owners have the power right now. May as well take advantage of it. You don't trade young superstar WRs in today's NFL and if your system doesn't make AJ worth the money then throw out your system.
