Income Taxes For Pro Athletes Are Reminder Of How Complicated U.S. Tax Code Is

Taxes for pro athletes are extremely complicated and they are taxed by most states and cities if they play a game there. I don't think they can get by using TurboTax. From the above link:

Athletes file taxes not only in their home state but also in every state—and some cities—in which they play.
This is dumb. They should be taxed based on where their team (employer) is located. I cant think of another travel based job that is not taxed this way. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe this would just be too much of an advantage for teams in states without an income tax?

Looking like the Browns are out now that they restructured Vernon. Raiders lowballing. Havent heard of anyone else but Titans and Seahawks that are pursuing him. Saw news recently that the Hawks are "increasingly optimistic" they will re-sign him now. And news came out today that JRob is still interested, just wants to see him work out in person first.

sounds like hes ours

Seattle knows whats hes made of, and he knows what theyre made of. Why wouldnt he have already re-signed there if he was planing to be back in Seattle?

Seriously, I would like to see us sign a solid end and move on from this. It will be difficult for me to like Clowney if we do sign him. It will take more than 3 sacks in a season to move me to his side.

Clowney became linked to the Eagles suddenly. There are those who cover the Eagles claiming it's smoke, not fire. They already have a stout line, so it's difficult what to make of it. Clowney made it clear he's not interested in Cleveland or Miami and wants to play for a team with a chance of success so that makes sense why he wouldn't be interested in those teams and why the Jets stopped their pursuit. Personally I'd rather see the Titans land Griffen on a short term deal.

Clowney is just driving up his market, his best year stat wise was with Vrabel and Titans aren't the bad team they used to be, definitely a team on the rise. If he wants to be on a winner then he needs to sign in Nashville.

The big news from Philly is that they are re-signing Jason Peters.

Sign him and let's go!

I get the pandemic situation holding up physicals etc but would it really be that much of an effort to get a doctor with a mask and Clowney with a mask and get one done? Is it more complicated than that?
