Is Hopkins no longer the #1?
Dude broke 1k with no other WR on the field, no OL, injured QBs.

Does the “new” WR NEED to fill a #1 role?
Seems like Ayuik and Waddle thrive with another WR of talent on the field #1 or not.

i dont think christian kirk got more than he was worth.

1100+ yards in his first year.
he got hurt this year but was more than on pace to get there again.

i think people just underestimated his talent. and for some reason, the narrative has stuck.

He’s a $24 mil cap hit guy?
$27 mil next year?

It’s not that he’s bad, just got paid like a #1 WR and set the market for real #1 WR.
Jax is gonna eat his contract up for at least 2 more years.
Now that they are likely losing Ridley, I guess he’ll have the chance to prove his value.

if we could guarantee a 1k receiver for 24m cap space, wouldnt we do it?

just kidding, we are the titans, of course we wouldnt

most teams would though

Not as a #2 WR.
we also see the example of the opposite in KC. They spend money on $10 WR.

Buffalo seems a realistic cost with big $$ spent on Diggs, rookie contract on Davis. We’ll see what the FA market dictates.
I don’t see too many teams spending big on 2 guys.

We are going to draft a WR pretty high (or we should) so is there a need to go get a FA #1? We have Hopkins. Rookie WR doesn’t need to be #1. Go get a guy like Davis to solidify both starting spot and let the rookie/Burks/whoever else get comfortable.
