Titans Talk - Home for all things Tennessee Titans

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Titans QB Ryan Tannehill traveled with the team ahead of Sunday Night Football against the Chiefs.

So you rather take the automatic L vs an AFC team?
Realistically, let’s fast forward to the end of the season, titans are very unlikely to get the #1 seed and a bye. Is there a big difference between 2, 3, and 4?
Not really unless we’re already considering the divisional round AND that both 2/3 win preventing the titans from playing the 1 until at least the AFCCG.

This point is null if you are arguing that another team in the South surpasses Tennessee and WC comes into play.

Huh?

The question was asked about “taking an automatic L vs an AFC team”

Aside from my disagreement about an auto L even if Willis plays, a loss to KC will have little bearing on the post season for the titans unless someone thinks another team in the South is going to pass Tennessee for division.

That loss will likely play a role in seeding between 2/3/4. Is there really a big difference between the 3? I’d say no, so losing to KC isn’t really that big a deal.

100% agree but only cause away game

If it was home I would want Titans to go all out

Don’t get me wrong, they should try everything to win, but if there really is risk for THill and the rest of the season, start Willis again and shoot for a similar game plan. I don’t think it works this week despite a pretty decent matchup.

And for sure, you should always try to win home games even if trying to suck for luck.
