Ah, but he also knows how rare these opportunities are.I can't see Art doing that tbh, I know money usually talks, but he doesn't need it
The good news is, no one is going to pinch our DC. Of that I am certain

Interesting that the 2 coaches they want are both Ohio St guys.... I wonder if they might possibly go Justin Fields instead of Trevor Lawrence...
Day isn’t leaving OSU for Jacksonville

That’s good for us... that nut Jack Easterby got his man. Cal McNair, the drunk son is truly in charge. Poor Watson will play out the prime years of his career in the wasteland that is the Texans franchise.
Isn't Easterby with NE?That’s good for us... that nut Jack Easterby got his man. Cal McNair, the drunk son is truly in charge. Poor Watson will play out the prime years of his career in the wasteland that is the Texans franchise.

That team is trash. If I’m Watson... I demand a trade. They are going to be bad for a long time.
He could demand until the cows come home, but they ain’t trading him. Only way would be if the Jags trade the #1 to them and they take Lawrence and that ain’t happening. That team is trash. If I’m Watson... I demand a trade. They are going to be bad for a long time.

I agree. But no one wants a QB or any player who doesn’t want to be there. Plus he isn’t worth the 1st overall. Not with that contract.
Most teams would disagree. Watson is a top QB and it would take a ton to get him. Once the new coach is in place things will settle down in Houston. O’Brian created a huge mess that won’t be fixed in a single season, but they should be dramatically better quickly. Winning solves everything.I agree. So who would you rather have, Watson or Lawrence? He could demand until the cows come home, but they ain’t trading him. Only way would be if the Jags trade the #1 to them and they take Lawrence and that ain’t happening.
I, personally would take Watson because he’s a proven commodity and still young. Lawrence may well be the best ever or not as many before him have done.So who would you rather have, Watson or Lawrence?

If he actually cared that much about it he wouldn’t have re signed with them. He easily gets that contract on the open market.
Now he has to sleep in the bed he made.
I think Watson would be better in Jax than Houston, better WRs, and a younger RB that is on the rise.I, personally would take Watson because he’s a proven commodity and still young. Lawrence may well be the best ever or not as many before him have done.
But as a Titans fan, don't want Hags to improve that much lol
I'm not sure about Lawrence, admittedly don't watch college ball. Like you said he may bust or he may be great.
