He's already at the back end of the 6-8 week healing time, it'll already be 10 weeks the beginning of next week if my math is right, so it should be close to if not fully healed. Not sure how much more difference resting him 2-3 more weeks will make.

Once a bone heals it's as strong as the bone was before the break, so not sure why everyone is so pessimistic about him breaking it again, especially in his first game back.

He'll come back as strong as ever, have confidence. I'm more concerned about game shape and how long that will take.

I posted a update from a orthopedic surgeon awhile back he claims they put a plate in the bone to make sure. Said the main concern is swelling as Henry returns his foot will swell the more he uses it for a few months. I’m pretty sure Henry can handle that though. I hope we see him next week!

The other issue is muscle atrophy. I blew out both of my achilles tendons (two different times) and during rehab, one of the biggest problems for me was getting my lower leg muscles back in shape, even for me as a former Division 1 athlete. My first injury was in my 30s when i was still playing in pretty competitive bball leagues and you won't believe how discouraging it can be when you are finally released to do serious rehab work and you can barely lift yourself onto your toes. Of course, Henry's job is to rehab so he's getting a lot more work in than I ever got at Vanderbilt Sports Medicine (since I had a job i had to go to).

Good point, I also completely tore my achilles as well while playing hoops. So I know all about muscle atrophy, it doesn't take long for that to set in. He does have access to the best rehab equipment, including the anti-gravity treadmill which was a useful tool in helping me recover.

I don't watch b-ball but I don't think anyone is saying King Williamson? Lol

Keeping hopeful :henry:

His nickname is King, lol. King Zion.

...but he is fat as a bear now and has a long history of foot injuries.

Deebo Samuel had a Jones fracture last year. He looks great. DeMarcus Lawrence had one this year and is back. And looks great.

It does seem like there is a huge difference in performance for the players that wait 10 weeks. So I'd honestly like to see that.

He doesnt deserve the nickname King. King James was already a thing before he got to the league. Even the , king Henry is the real best.

They've kept his progress in a Vienna sausage can. Nobody has been able to crack open that can to see how he's doing or where he's at.

Top Secret level chit. Not even Rapp or Schefler going to crack it. PK will probably get the scoop.
