I know you’re aware of how much I look up stats.

Before I completely school you on how wrong this post is, are you sure this is the criteria you want to use for why you think the game has changed in the last 10 years?

I’ll start by adding that I want you to know and everyone else reading along, that I did notice your clever attempt to use the stats from 11 years ago because it helps fit you’re narrative better.

But I assure you, that if this is your criteria for how the league has changed, you are more than 100% wrong.

That is 10 years ago from the last full season of NFL stats. Lol I’ll gladly share 2011 vs 2021 when the season is complete.

You are all bark and no bite. You will just continue to change the narrative and move the goal posts. You know how every argument you have with me ends… but yet you keep coming back for more.

The NFL has absolutely changed in the last 10 years. From rule changes to offensive schemes. Hell defenders can’t play anywhere close to the level they used to because of DPI, roughing the passer, and targeting calls. Tom Brady even admits the game has changed.

Speaking by of goal post moves, why didn’t you just say all those rule changes the first time?
Please, show something substantial on how those rules changes and offensive schemes changed the game.
I’m gonna guess that your original 2010 vs 2020 point was to show rush has dropped off in favor of passing.

so we’re clear, last 10 years and how you’re defending the NEED to have a QB to win a SB. Basically why the 3 seasons that wasn’t the case don’t count.

by the way,
2020 -1
2019 - 2
2018 - 3
2017 - 4
2016 - 5
2015 - 6
2014 - 7
2013 - 8
2012 - 9
2011 - 10

by all means, wait til 2021 is over to cover 10 years when 2010 won’t count.

Glad we’re looking this stuff up, while you search for anything to help prove the league has changed more than minimally at all,
I happened to come across the 2013 Russell Wilson season.

he makes #4 of marginal QB to win a SB in the last 10 years.
his name, just like Peyton Manning gives the impression of some great QB, but not even close to a great season when they won.
Joe flacco
Nick Foles
2015 Peyton manning
2013 Russell Wilson

all carried by D and/or run game.

GENERAL MANAGER OF AN AFC TEAM: "No. I like Ryan when he's on a strong team. But he's shown at both Miami and Tennessee that he can't be the catalyst in critical moments and turn you into a scoring juggernaut without help. It's not a talent issue. He's big, mobile, has a strong arm and outstanding football IQ. It's that 'it' factor that is missing. It shows up in situational ball. It's poise when the chips are down. It's the ability to make those around you overcome defenses scheming against you. Quarterbacks like Tom Brady and Drew Brees mastered it, and they were never as physically gifted as Tannehill. That team obviously has the ingredients to go on a Super Bowl run if (running back) Derrick Henry comes back (from foot surgery) and (wide receivers) Julio Jones and A.J. Brown start getting healthy. But that also would involve him elevating his play like Kurt Warner did for the Cardinals when they went on their run (Arizona lost to Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XLIII in the 2008 season). I don't see him getting to that level unless everyone else around him is playing out of their minds."

2010 had 17 1,000 yard rushers & 5 4,000 yard passer.

2020 had 9 1,000 yard rushers and 12 4,000 yard passers.

Game has changed a lot in 10 years.
Just to end this part of whatever argument you have even though it wasn’t clarified as to what you really meant with this:

Last 12 years (just to encompass your 11th year addition
2009 - 10 4K QBs, 15 1K rushers
2010 - 5 4K QBs, 11 1K rushers
2011 - 10 4K QBs, 15 1K rushers
2012 - 11 4K QBs (1 5K), 16 1K rushers
2013 - 9 4K QBs, 13 1K rushers
2014 - 11 4K QBs, 13 1K rushers
2015 - 12 4K QBs, 7 1K rushers
2016 - 13 4K QBs (1 5K), 13 1K rushers
2017 - 8 4K QBs, 9 1K rushers
2018 - 12 4K QBs (2 5K), 9 1K rushers
2019 - 11 4K QBs (1 5K), 16 1K rushers
2020 - 12 4K QBs, 9 1K rushers

I’m sure you can show where the changes over the last 10 years are with this info, especially enough to say it’s changed “a lot”.

Ok gentlemen, I am happy to officiate for free! Here are some ground rules… there are none! No holds barred, diapers only. Tap if you need to, otherwise the beatings continue!

It’s obvious what I meant lol all you have to do is read the words. I noted MULTIPLE different ways the game has changed. Multiple. Meaning more than one.

First 6 years average of your data:
Average of 13.8 1K rushers & 9.3 4k passer per year

Last 6 years:
10.5 1K rushers & 11.3 4k passers.

16 1k rushers 2 years ago! Biggest number of all years. OK, I’m KOd. 16 9 years ago… I’m not in this, but your ass is getting kicked from looking on

And the team who won the super bowl ranked 28th in rushing.

“And now it’s the teams running the rock that killing.”

Top rushing team this year is Philly. They are definitely Killing it!!! Lol

Balance is required for everything. Redskins made the Bucs look pretty pedestrian running it down their throat. It’s pretty obvious to me that our offense was tops last year for what reason again!? Do tell, was it Tammy? Who you say blows, or was it Big Dick Henry for whom you say the game has changed? I’m confused where you stand.

You picked a fight with the stat geek, not me. Decent counter from you after that initial bell ringer, but the tape on your diaper is beginning to peel.

Where have I said Tannehill blows?

Saying the game has changed doesn’t mean a RB can’t be dominant. We are talking about winning a SB.
