He wanted $15M/yr. With how deep the draft is at WR, nobody is willing to pay that. Can't say I blame them, no way he's worth that much.same reason Clowney isn’t signed yet. Asking price too high
As for Bortles, I'd be okay with him on the cheap. He has had the odd good game, more than the rest of backup caliber guys out there. For a game or 2, he could be fine. If he needs to play more than that, this team wasn't going far anyway.
Well he has only played against scrubs so we really don’t know if he is good or bad.we already have a good backup qb. Woodside

And NINE were drafted in the first two rounds last year. Two straight deep and talented WR classes doesn’t bode well for higher priced FA WRs.
Melvin Gordon to the Broncos..
Gordon and Gurley both with new teams. I remember these 2 backs in college. I thought they were going to be absolute studs in the NFL.

To be fair, they were game changing studs before injuries slowed them down.Melvin Gordon to the Broncos..

True, but man did they both fall off fast.

Gordon was solid last year when he played no?

Ah, nothing special. Gordon has cracked 1,000 yards (1,105) once in his 5 year career. Had 600+ yards last year in 12 games.
Based on how he looked in college, he goes on the underachiever ranks for me.

He was pretty dang good from 2016-2018, averaging over 100 scrimmage per game. But he's missed about games/year aside from 2017. Definitely not worthy of a 1st round pick.

Don't get me wrong, he damn sure was worthy of a first round pick. I remember the debate surrounding which RB should be selected first between Gordon and Gurley. There were some that actually said Gordon.
He just hasn't lived up to expectations. I do like him as a back, but just not worthy of any big contract he may have thought he was going to get.

Eh, I should say that I mean as a RB he wasn't worthy of a 1st rounder. If I'm taking a RB round 1, he better be top 5 at his position over a good portion of his career. Otherwise, it seems like a waste of a 1st round pick since it's fairly easy to find a starting caliber RB in rounds 2-4 (and even so many more seem to be UDFA's)
This is bad logic. If RBs aren’t worth a big long term deal, the best thing to do would be to draft high and let them go after 4 seasons. That way, you don’t have to pay big dollars to that position, ever. There should, honestly, be more RBs drafted in the first 2 rounds.Eh, I should say that I mean as a RB he wasn't worthy of a 1st rounder. Everson Griffen, yay or nay?
yay on a cheap 1-2 year deal
but he is 32 and I’d rather us get younger
Guy has some serious mental issues as wellEverson Griffen, yay or nay?
I should be watching March Madness right now :disappointed:
well...ya kinda are huh?
some dude on twitter followed by Ian Rap said Clowney is a Titan .
They're waiting on a physical and that Titans offered 19mil a year with incentives to 21mil .
let me get his handle for yall - like I said he's followed by BLUE CHECK ian rap.
Granted, take it with a grain of salt - but the relationship to Ian Rap begs some curious questions.
