Seems like teams sign up QBs from within their divisions often tho wouldnt you say?Every year WR, QBs, TE, OL are cut and picked up. Every team would know every other teams signals then.
If healthy and that's a big IF. Absolutely.Ok guys I have a serious question. With Woodside and McDonald looking like ass so far, would you be willing to trade for Alex Smith? If not who would be a good backup?...I personally think if he is proven healthy, I'd go get Alex.
Go ahead... define "often".Seems like teams sign up QBs from within their divisions often tho wouldnt you say?
you know, oftenGo ahead... define "often".
Yep, to little or no avail.Seems like teams sign up QBs from within their divisions often tho wouldnt you say?
They also often cut these guys shortly after playing the team they came from. Not sure it even as effective as icing the kicker.you know, often
Id say it’s a lot more about just recycling the same QB backups around the league.you know, often
I mean, theoretically Mccown should be the most valuable QB then.
QB def seems like a pos you keep tabs on, and I know if i looked back Id find it to be a common occurrence.Id say it’s a lot more about just recycling the same QB backups around the league.

You were saying?Which is why i don't see us cutting Cole....... JROB surrendering Falk to the Dolphins was what got Marcus and Delanie killed.
Care to share some of the vast number of examples you have? I think instead of "often", it's more like "meh... sometimes... every once in a while".you know, often
At the end of the day, it's irrelevant. I won't say zero, but the value from signing a cut QB just to get an advantage on your week 1 opponent is very very close to zero.
It’s not zero but I believe it is 100% coincidence, not because a division team had the player.Care to share some of the vast number of examples you have? I think instead of "often", it's more like "meh... sometimes... every once in a while".

This offseason I can think of a couple, Winston, Chase Daniel, Bridgewater. I think colt McCoy as well.
None of these guys were signed to that amount of money for the purpose of trying to “steal” anything from a division rival. They were signed to legit compete for at least the backup position.
NFL salary caps and roster sizes aren’t big enough for GMs to wastes spots and money for the off chance they may get a little information. The owner already hires other people (for much less and likely much more info) to specifically get information and tape on other teams.
It pops up enough I can see where @Broken Arrow is coming fromCare to share some of the vast number of examples you have? I think instead of "often", it's more like "meh... sometimes... every once in a while".

Dude looks like he's limping when he walksHe is currently fully practicing in Washington . He is healthy enough to come off the pup list which means he has already passed a physical.
Had not heard that. Would still say yes for a 6-7 even if we signed simeian(sp?)He is currently fully practicing in Washington . He is healthy enough to come off the pup list which means he has already passed a physical.
Lets have a madden fantasy draft every year. Why not lolEvery year WR, QBs, TE, OL are cut and picked up. Every team would know every other teams signals then.
Tannehill and Jonnu better be careful week 1You were saying?
Earl Thomas could be fined, released or traded?
Ravens S Earl Thomas sent home after fight with teammate Chuck Clark
Maybe we could get him as a lead blocker for Henry
