I give Ran a pass on that scrub because of the cap limitations and holes he plays inherited.
The cap was an issue last season. Daley made 965k, Dilliard's contract was significantly more lucrative averaging out at nearly 7.5 million a season. He was signed and paid to be an adequate starter at LT.
I agree with this, which is why I want a slam dunk at LT and not another roll of the dice. The cap was an issue last season. Daley made 965k, Dilliard's contract was significantly more lucrative averaging out at nearly 7.5 million a season. He was signed and paid to be an adequate starter at LT.
I hope BC can salvage something out of that money. The cap was an issue last season. Daley made 965k, Dilliard's contract was significantly more lucrative averaging out at nearly 7.5 million a season. He was signed and paid to be an adequate starter at LT.
I can understand the effort of a former first round pick, maybe restarting, and with NFL exp, but he seems almost Panda bad.
A decent LT is immensely more valuable than a star LG.
Wrong
That's why they don't move him to LT
well we definitely need to stop taking guards in the early 1st, i agree with them there. that is just dumb
That's the first time they've taken a guard in the first in ages
That's the first time they've taken a guard in the first in ages
Yep. The last G was Warmack back in 2013 so it was a decade since they picked a G in the first.
Yeah, a LT has to be 6'11" 420 lbs and run a 4.5 40. And has 40 inch arms. Everybody knows that.

That's easily worth a 7 pick.. I am in! igfly:Yeah, a LY has to be 6'11" 420 lbs and run a 4.5 40. And has 40 inch arms. Everybody knows that.
With all the struggles at WR last year, I can’t believe they didn’t try Spears as WR1! Who cares if he isn’t a WR, we need a dominant WR and he’s fast!
(This was sarcasm, for those who need the sign)
We had a good WR1 last year, so that was a piss poor job of sarcasm. And Spears wasn't an All-American WR in college either.

Time to trade up for a good one instead of taking a half measure
Nice. See what you did there. Which other position needs a costly upgrade in your opinion? That would put us in danger mode.
we need three ol.
I get it. It’s difficult to laugh with a belly full of crow.We had a good WR1 last year, so that was a piss poor job of sarcasm. And Spears wasn't an All-American WR in college either.

Why not try Jeff Simmons at LT
More sarcasm
He did make All-city in Pop Warner at LT… inconceivable to let him rot on the defensive line. Why not try Jeff Simmons at LT
