It’s literally just this. Vrabel wasn’t a bad coach. He got the players motivated and ready to play, but he was stubborn and refused to have anything but yes men as coordinators.
Same situation as Mike Tomlin up until they finally fired their OC. At some point those coaches have to be held responsible for it, and Vrabel finally was.
