Did these today. I notice a lot of us are drafting a kicker late, which I think is very likely. There are 3 who I would consider drafting, but it's pretty much a consensus that Borregales is the best one.

I like everything about the 2nd draft except for Perkins. He's too undersized, imo. I know his size is similar to Landry's, but Landry was an elite speed rusher and who had elite college production behind him. Perkins was productive, but nothing eye popping stats wise, despite an OU defense that was pretty aggressive in terms of blitzing.

If Elijah Moore is there in the 2nd he should be the pick at 53. No hesitation IMO. Don't pass no that and getting one of the CBs in the first (Newsome or Farley) and a guy like that in the 2nd makes it a solid draft already.

Plenty of undersized pass rush specialists later in the draft.

Oh, I wouldn't pass on Tremble in the late 3rd either (85). Too good to pass up and probably not there if we wait. Best blocking TE in the draft and can still give you some catches. Almost 2nd round value IMO.

Read an article and someone made a good point. JRob only takes WR that have been highly productive for multiple years. Obviously COVID throws a bit of a wrench into this plan, but I think we can safely write off a few popular names like Bateman, Toney, and Marshall.

Actually, if we go WR in 1-2, I would be surprised if it wasn't one of the following:

DeVonta Smith (saw a rumor is that he falling down draft boards a bit and could fall all the way to 19 if the Giants pass on him)
Elijah Moore
D'yami Brown
Rondale Moore

I don't see the Smith thing happening, so my preference would be to take whoever is available among that group at pick 53.

I agree that Toney is really a 1 yr impact guy. Marshall has caught over 45 balls and had over 10 TDs each of the past 2 yrs....and he was sharing targets with some really solid WRs...I'm shocked that Marshall isn't getting more love...but I also loved Mike Williams so I'm not the best evaluator.....Rondale Moore hasn't produced since his freshman year...in the past 2 yrs he has 2 TD receptions....Bateman produced his first 2 yrs over 50 rec each yr and 16 total TDs...I give him a pass for 2020.

TDs aren't really what I was referring to. Every WR JRob has drafted had multiple 1k yard seasons in college.

Moore is more than a 1 year wonder. An injury limited Moore to only 4 games in 2019 and COVID limited him to only 3 games in 2020. But he was just as valuable as ever in those games. Suffice to say, he was easily on par for another 1k yard season in both years, and had 2020 been a normal year, he likely surpasses 1k yards again. Like I said, COVID kinda throws a wrench in that evaluation. It's hard to know how JRob will evaluate a season that was shortened by COVID.

However it turns out, I will be surprised if we don't draft 2 WRs...one bigger body type and then a speed guy....

Would love to draft Elijah Moore at 53 but I don’t think he will be there, would JRob trade up for him?

I'd stay away from Devonta Smith
I don't think he will hold up in the NFL
