Exactly why vrabel’s seat should be boiling hot right now except DC.mularkey was fired, rightly, for NOT upgrading his coordinators... OC in particular
It’s sad we all called it and knew how inevitable it was.
only two of us voted the Jets would win though, me and @Afc46
i remember last week saying it was ok to rest people because of our schedule
about that
That would have been a lot funnier if he was strip-tea bagged in front of his home crowd. At least Roethlisberger just got strip-sacked, so today wasn't a total loss!

I think JRob also realized Mularkey hit his ceiling. I think Vrabel's ceiling is a super bowl, he just needs better coordinators. Which he's unwilling to get.
I remember getting sack after sack with that 08 defense. All we get now is some random pressure now and then. When Schwartz left to take the lions job, and Chuck Cecil took over, the defense has been sub-par since other than the occasional good game under Dean Pees.jimbelina held those Ds back

Can't wait to see all the "Jags by 14+" votes in next week's thread
I am not a mularkey hater but I was also happy, and surprised, when Amy fired him
cost her $20ish millions to dump his stubborn ass

Well, nice to see that we still have the long standing tradition of giving crappy, no win teams a win.
07 & 08 were the seasons Fat Albert was 'franchised'I remember getting sack after sack with that 08 defense. All we get now is some random pressure now and then.
I mean when motivated Haynesworth was a beast without a doubt
Vrabel has already hit his ceiling.I think JRob also realized Mularkey hit his ceiling. I think Vrabel's ceiling is a super bowl, he just needs better coordinators. Which he's unwilling to get.
I’ve reached my doubts that Vrabel does have that ceiling.I think JRob also realized Mularkey hit his ceiling. I think Vrabel's ceiling is a super bowl, he just needs better coordinators. Which he's unwilling to get.
I think he’s good with the players which is important, but his D (it is absolutely his) will not get the job done.
The fact he pinned it on Bowen last year, sort of, then promoted him is exactly why Vrabel should absolutely be on the extremely hot seat.
Bills are super scary. They are going to slaughter us. Didn't they get another shut out today. All I know is our wideouts better get healthy quick. We could easily go 0-3 against jags bills chiefs
Any team without four key players are going to struggle against any team on the road.
Haynesworth wanted paid and KVB was an animal.I remember getting sack after sack with that 08 defense. All we get now is some random pressure now and then. When Schwartz left to take the lions job, and Chuck Cecil took over, the defense has been sub-par since other than the occasional good game under Dean Pees.
Our scheme (I don’t even like calling it that) is much different too.
vrable taking softballs from keith now...
can only hide behind effort for so long. at some point must execute. must block
our QB will be much sorer than their QB will be tomorrow

Who is “throwing” the ball for Houston?Bills are super scary. They are going to slaughter us. Didn't they get another shut out today.
They don’t have a Henry to rely on without having even a physical QB.
Just some guy that takes snaps followed by a beating.
I guess the Titans missing 4 -5 starters including both of our pro bowl receivers had an effect.
The scheme is my point. It sucks.Haynesworth wanted paid and KVB was an animal.

Agree, but don’t you try to gameplan something different to make up for the 4 missing key players?Any team without four key players are going to struggle against any team on the road.
He just did the exact gameplan he does with those guys and to no one’s surprise, it worked out less than it normally does, which isn’t even that good to begin with, especially on D.
