I miss 3rd and Firkser. He was good in art smiths scheme. So was firkser.
id say the decline in TE is more downing than it was losing Smith.
Like I said during the game, Brewer and Quessenberry were getting worked. I'd imagine that the sack Jones gave up was an instance where he was also trying to give Brewer an assist.
Robinson's biggest offseason concern is fixing this oline. Beyond Lewan, the rest of them are below average to horrid in pass blocking
How does Quessenberry have such a high overall PFF grade while giving up 11 sacks this year? Is he the league's best run blocking OT?

Downing is a problem

Jones hadn't allowed a sack all season up until that point. He's as solid as they come, though he's getting up there in age.
Certainly we gotta find a RT. It's really disappointing that Radunz can't get much PT. Hopefully it's a just him being really raw coming out of NDSU. J-Rob whiffing on OTs with early picks in back to back drafts would be unacceptable. From the few opportunities Radunz has played, he certainly looks the part of a mauler in the run game, but he got owned in a few of his limited passing plays.
I'm anti-1st Round QBs... such a huge investment and rarely work out.
But they work out a far greater rate than QBs selected outside of the 1st round.
The idea of benching THill is nonsense.
nothing has suggested woodside is capable of anything and add the idea of him being out there with no OL.
THill did ok yesterday. Not great, not terrible. Both fumbles from WR we’re not on him.
The tipped pass was not only a collapsed pocket, but a good defensive play.
these massive amounts of TO are far from a THill problem alone. Benching him would cause more damage than good.
He had McNichols on the opposite side with a DB playing 10 yards off the ball. RT didn't even look his way.
I'll agree Downings play calls could be better. But did Downing fumble the snap and then go sCam Newton and not even make attempt to recover it? Did Downing miss wide open WRs? Was Downing a statue and take sacks and almost get strip sacked? You can go on and on and on, when do you hold Tanny accountable? NEVER? Is he God, like wtf is this?

Downing hasnt made adjustments. Change blocking schemes. Just keep running the damn ball. The offense is vanilla. No wrinkles. No reverses. Nothing.
If Tammy can figure out something as routine as how to take a snap and not fumble it, they might have had a chance to win.The idea of benching THill is nonsense.

Probably would've been better if we pulled the New England at Buffalo game plan when all they did was run the ball all night long. We were gashing them in the run game with all 3 RBs.
Just run the ball and play great defense should be the plan for us the rest of the way.

What's more frustrating? This years offense or last years defense?
Could you imagine last years offense paired with this years defense?

Unfortunately I can. Makes it harder to sleep. What's more frustrating? This years offense or last years defense?

I assume this is about the 4th down pass.He had McNichols on the opposite side with a DB playing 10 yards off the ball. RT didn't even look his way.
That’s all fine, but Westbrook was open too. Not like he threw a contested pass. Westbrook just did t run far enough before turning around, he needed another yard.
That’s not on THill if you ask me.
I always seem to need this disclaimer but me saying that play isn’t on THill is not saying he played good in any way overall.
youre argument is stupid because it seems you want to hold ONLY THill accountable for everything.I'll agree Downings play calls could be better. But did Downing fumble the snap and then go sCam Newton and not even make attempt to recover it? Did Downing miss wide open WRs? Was Downing a statue and take sacks and almost get strip sacked? 2 fumbles lost were not on him. The OL letting him get crushed all day is not him. Take note to the hit he took while still hitting Firkser for a key 3rd down conversion that Firkser fumbled away.
Take note to Brewer and Queensberry playing true style all day.
At least try to see that it’s far from 1 player and that replacing THill with woodside really only makes the situation worse.
So you think every fumbled snap should result in a QB benching? If Tammy can figure out something as routine as how to take a snap and not fumble it, they might have had a chance to win.
Nonsense. Bad timing for sure, but that s**t happens from time to time.
Not a bad game plan at all. Actually would have worked against NE too except the RB were the guys coughing up the ball.Probably would've been better if we pulled the New England at Buffalo game plan when all they did was run the ball all night long. Downing on NWI being short of the sticks on that last play.
What a pu$$ response.Downing on NWI being short of the sticks on that last play.
Just say “yes”, it was supposed to be passed the sticks.
His over explanation of “big WR that can break a tackle to get the yard” makes it seem like he called it that way.
Without calling out NWI, he didn’t run the route far enough. Youth mistake.

Still don't understand why we didn't call a TO on that last play.
