No doubt they changed the ending when they were renewed for season 5.

Who gives a f*** about Carries mother.

Did they not renew for a 5th season until recently? Season 5 needs to be the end of else it will just turn into Dexter, and I don't want that at all.

But man what a disappointing finale.

Breaking Bad would never do that to you!

But Deadly Spawn is a classic..

Yeah, we need a new and improved Spawn film.

as for the case of comic book movies... I seriously think DC is going about it all wrong.

When David S Goyer disrespects the Martian Manhunter verbally, something is definitely wrong.
You don't diss J'onn J'onzz.

And you don't go for the dark and gritty side of comics outside of the street level characters, like GA and Bats, hell, even green arrow is a major smartass...

Looking back on the original superman movies, and watching MoS, it's almost sad how they fucked up supes. I'm not one to complain about the final battle, that's the kinda fight we need from superman, but it wouldn't have hurt to see him trying to save more people during that fight.

Although I do think Ben Affleck is gonna kill it as batman, I just pray to odin that he doesn't do the "I have throat cancer" batman voice like Bale did. uuuuughhhhhh.

I'm interested in hearing what shows you guys would put above Breaking Bad...

The Wire and Game of Thrones. To be fair I only watched the first season of Breaking Bad. I liked it okay but just didn't really ever care about seeing any of the other seasons.

After watching the first season of Boardwalk Empire, I wanted to watch more of it. I'm through season 3 and it's been pretty good.

I liked Deadwood but unfortunately it didn't get past season 3 so it left some story lines unresolved.

Also Freaks and Geeks was a d**n good show. So was Twin Peaks for the first season and a half. I'm not done with season 2 but I'm beginning to lose interest in it.

Edit: True Detective is also the s**t.

tl;dr: The Wire and Game of Thrones are top of the list

I thought season three of BW Empire was the weakest. That overly sensitive extra violent Italian spazz did not do it for me. Season four is excellent. The season focuses a lot on Chalky White. The only unfortunate thing about season four is that they did not have the original boardwalk set any more. The series was only supposed to go three years and the set was only allowed to be up those three years.

Season five though is a let down. There is a lot of good stuff but they were rushed and had to cram a lot into a small number of episodes. Also, they included a lot of unnecessary stuff. Still worth watching.

Started watching Agents of Shield...got about 4 eps in. Does anyone know if the Skye actress has ever starred in a porno? If so, got a link?

I'd also give an edge to The Wire and Deadwood, but those shows also benefited a lot from a commercial-free, HBO anything goes environment..
That said, seeing one season of BB is like going to a great Mexican restaraunt and just having a the chips.. You gotta dig in to the pollo mang..!

For sure man. @8and8 the first season of BB is just a warm up. It gets exponentially better after.
