Still playing l4d1. 256 hours played now. I have never played a non mmo as much as I have this game, and I am still not bored of it. The co-op play on expert is a blast.
Alright... final thoughts: Battlefield 3 Multiplayer sucks.
And I hate that people hype the sh** out of it just because they're tired of the COD series. Once again I was conned in to buying this piece of sh*t and once again it feels far more arcady, far more noobish, and like a generic version of mw.
People complain about spawn camping in COD? Jesus. This game you spawn and 3 seconds later you're dead or it spawns you right behind someone else for an easy kill. Rubbish. The campers are insane, the people that run out in to the open are even worse.
Ah well. I at least liked the multiplayer. But BF is the new NFL2k. People wanted it to be better than madden so bad that they started convincing themselves, when honestly 2k sucked just as much.

I haven't played BF3 yet howver, I almost don't even want to play MW3 anymore because of the enormous amount of campers in that game. Should just call it Modern Campfare 3. Pisses me the hell off.

I just got your request. Have to play you another time. just finished a game but time to get in bed, work early in the AM. I just bought madden a week ago btw. The game I just finished was the most hard fought game I've played thus far. I couldn't break dudes defense. I didn't score a TD until there was 3 mins left in the game. Ended up winning 24-21 behind 3 fgs lol. Dude just sat in a zone and I couldn't for the life of me find the holes.
I got MW3 on launch and MAY have 10 hours total on the game. Just the same rehash as all the other ones.
My son finished U3 in just a weekend. I haven't started yet because I can't quit Skyrim.

Got my PS3 back and continued on with Uncharted 3. And damn that game has some great action sequences.
Lost Odyssey is a damn under-rated game as well. It's sorta taken a back seat to Uncharted 3 but I've had that game for years and never really stuck with it past the first hour. Glad I have now.

Probably going to pick up the new twisted metal as well. I played the demo, and it feels really complete and a nice throw back to the originals. Granted I have only played 1-3.

Yeah I am looking to get the demo first up but it does look good.
You two will not be disappointed. The demo, obviously is a little limited. I believe it is a time based demo. My main character is a 26 Might spec'd toon. The combat is so, so good. But PLEASE! Start the game on hard. Normal is honestly the easy setting. Makes the game so much more enjoyable when you don't kill your enemies in two hits.
