Titans Talk - Home for all things Tennessee Titans

Man, Twitter has a bunch of the NFL “experts”, like guys paid by the NFL for what their thoughts are, they really love the Latham pick and seem to think he could end up better than Alt.

boy is their world gonna be crushed when they read the GT experts.
If BC loves him(apparently he does), I'll gladly keep my mind more optimistic. Let's face it, we need OL badly.

This is one big dude and seems to have a tremendous amount of upside. If pops Callahan puts his seal of approval, then that’s good enough for me for the time being.

This has been a massive hole for us for a few years now. Hopefully the days of watching our QBs get beaten to death play after play is coming to an end.

This was the worst case scenario for the Titans draft. I would have taken any option to trade back to anywhere from 10-15. Once of the other tier of tackles would of been available or Bowers as a contingency option.

Personally I would of been much more comfortable with this pick at 11 with a 3rd rounder in the bank. I hope I am wrong but seemed we panicked...
No it isn't. Nobody knows about trade offers. You just pulled that out of your ass.

The best OL coach in the business loves and wants him at LT.

I wanted Alt or Nabers, but can't be upset with a good lineman. I hope he does well.

I did read before the draft he was more of a RT, I admit I'm ignorant but why can't they also be a good LT with practice? Are they literally like Quagmire after discovering Internet porn? Only one side works?

I don't see how he can play LT I don't even think he is good enough to play RT.In my opinion we will see him at RG at the end of the day.

Back to back drafts with guards that's the tennesseeTitans way.

I'm certainly willing to eat crow. But Fashanu seemed like a much safer play with the same elite upside. And you passed over Bowers who was an elite overall prospect.

And reportedly we had offers to trade down. Considering Fashanu went in the teens I think it's safe to say we could have traded down and still have gotten an elite OT prospect.

Mostly, I'm pretty pissed that this is the 2nd straight draft we've drafted an OL that we don't plan to use at his primary position.

I'll reserve judgment on this pick.

If the Titans picked 15th and we got him, I'd have no beef.

Really wanted Alt, Nabors or Bowers. I'll have to warm up to anybody else.

If he busts at LT, I guess he can be our RT. I think he'll be good at one or the other. Still a disappointment pick at #7. Hope JC proves us wrong.
