Dude been playing Madden where he can save the game, trade down, and if someone else snatches his guy, reload and not trade down.

Way early for anyone on the right side. We got caught with our pants down after olt was selected
I’m not claiming I know much about these guys coming from the college ranks nor am I a paid professional where my job and reputation are on the line with a player assessment.
Pretend you know nothing about the player other than these stats below, and provide your honest thoughts.
- Player A - minimum 6’6” and 320 pounds. Played for 3 seasons with 2 games against Ohio State, 2 games versus Clemson, and 1 game against SEC opponents (which was a bowl game).
- Player B - minimum 6’6” and 320 pounds. Played for 2 seasons with 1 game against Michigan (which was a bowl game) and 19 games against SEC opponents.
I saw many mocks with Latham going top 5 to the Chargers. Could the Titans have wanted Alt? Yes, but that's not saying JC Latham isn't good or better than the rest available. In fact NFL.com had Latham graded #1 OTSo then what does that say about the Chargers taking Alt at 5 and indicating he will be their RT? If our #7 was based solely on name recognition then yes, I would probably be unhinged about it, because after all, how many mocks had us taking Alt at 7 and Latham was going even later (not counting the non-OT needy teams were between us and a team picking in the teens?

All else being equal, I’m going with the guy that has played more against the better quality (read it as more NFL-caliber ready) opponents of the SEC.

Peter Schrager 2024 NFL mock draft 2.0: Six QBs among first 13 picks; Eagles, Chiefs, Lions trade up
NFL.com had him at 5
Coaching staff had their choice outside of Alt at 7, who was never an option for the Titans realistically. No way should we have traded up to get him. Think most realized we were going to take what fell to us.
If we still had Vrabel we could've gone 4 straight years of week 1 losses after not playing starters in preseasonWe could just avoid all this disappointment and start losing week 1 this year.
It’s a highly respected 2-4 week 1 record. If we still had Vrabel we could've gone 4 straight years of week 1 losses after not playing starters in preseason
This draft has alot of ifs!!
Can C.J move to LT?
Can Sweat drop some weight and stay out of trouble .
Can Grey battle for a starting spot or is he just a special team guy?
Both secondary players are physical but can they cover?
Can the WR actually make the team?
To me as in right now is the draft class is has a C grade with the possibility to be a A but as in right now it's a C.

JC was literally the only bright spot of the draft, and even that's just a dim bulb....
We totally botched the 2nd round for a DT that would have been there likely in the 3rd round for his off the field issue. And that resulted in us sitting on our hands during the entire 3rd round........

I love it when people use “literally” immediately before using a metaphor.JC was literally the only bright spot of the draft, and even that's just a dim bulb....

There shouldn’t be any question about Grey. If Pop Callahan wanted Latham at LT, I’m sure he will transition fine. The WR is going to be our return specialist. Everyone else who knows. This draft has alot of ifs!!

It is literally amusing.I love it when people use “literally” immediately before using a metaphor.
Guessing I'm in the minority of those who like this year's draft class.

You don’t know that. No one but a few on here seem to be concerned about his DWI. It’s being overblown.
I think you’re in the majority. Or at least with a camp of people that are willing to wait before complaining. Don’t let the loudest speak for everyone.Guessing I'm in the minority of those who like this year's draft class.

I'm married, guy... but thank you.
You can just as easily question every draft pick ever. It would make the draft a lot easier if there was a crystal ball to tell who would and wouldn't bust. But guess what... Big names bust every year. There's also "no names", UDFA , camp guys that have long productive careers. This draft has alot of ifs!!

If Pop Callahan said that Latham was his favorite player in the draft, that tells me they were going to take him over Alt at #7.There shouldn’t be any question about Grey. not gonna lie... think callahan lying thru his teeth on this one... but there is no loss in saying this eitherIf Pop Callahan said that Latham was his favorite player in the draft, that tells me they were going to take him over Alt at #7.
If the chargers are really considering moving Alt to G (it seems more RT not G) then the case could be made.not gonna lie... think callahan lying thru his teeth on this one... but there is no loss in saying this either
But I agree, probably not true.
I do believe Latham may have been their assumed choice all along because they thought Alt would be gone, chargers or not.
