Tagging him and trading him is different from trading him during the draft?

Again, a 2nd round pick that had solid production for 3 years (plus some injury concerns) turned in to a 1st and 3rd. Decent return on the investment that no longer wanted to be in Tennessee.

Yes. Trade him before teams have spent all their money in FA. Bigger market available and increases the chances of a bidding war

Would not be any different than the situation we are currently in.
It would be a lot different, WR franchise tag is just over $20 million that would be thrown out the window for a player who's likely to be a cancer if he doesn't just hold out. We also received an additional 1st and 3rd draft pick we wouldn't otherwise have.

That's why JRob made the trade, even if it wasn't great. AJ put the FO in this position by broadcasting his discontent a few weeks ago, and apparently this was the best deal on the market. I think that JRob might have negotiated a better trade before the no-show and Twitter incidents, but it doesn't matter now.

The deal is done, time to move on with the rest of the off-season.

I think someone doesnt understand how NFL offenses work, and certainly not ours!

You want to see Henry without a good QB and quality WR? go back to the beginning of the 2019 season....
Or the end of 2018 with the same QB and WR.
Henry was easily the #1 back in the NFL for the last 5-6 games of 18 with MM (and Cassel or Gabbert, whichever bum played week 17) then continued to dominate the league from that moment on albeit a slow start in 19’.

That said, I also suppose you are saying THill is a good QB and that without Brown there are no quality WR? And only a 1st round quality WR will suffice to allow Henry to be successful?

You can trade AJ Brown while he’s under the franchise tag even if he doesn’t sign it. Titans could have gotten more in return than a 1 & 3 IMO

No, that's far from certain, they might well have been stuck dealing him for far less after more of his antics to force a trade.

Either way, it doesn't matter, he's an Eagle now. I'm over it and on to the rest of the off-season.

More teams would be interested in AJ before FA & half of the first round draft. Teams would have more money to spend, etc.

It is what it is. Just wish we got more in return that’s all.

Can you imagine what Malik/AJ/Treylon/Phillips all entering would have looked like in two years?

Titans did the right thing moving on like they did given everything that went down, but it really is a shame it had to end this way knowing what could have been.
