ok where is Ms Elf to defend Jones.

Maybe she was the woman mentioned. Odd that she is always around when things happen
As I logged on....I was laughing out loud thinking the same thing.:ha:

The guy like to go out, and he's supposed to stop cuz he's in the NFL now? What is it, the freakin white house??? He's a hothead, always will, always will be, and sure, his off the field rep was shot even before he was drafted, but frankly I don't give a damn if he cusses out cops. I did before, and I still had a job the following monday.

As long as he does his thing on the field, I don't care if he gets caught dancing naked in front of Damien Nash's house. He was drunk, and it's his right to get drunk if he wants to, and if a biatch stole his wallet, being a hothead or not, I'd be royally pissed, and I'd be double that if some loser security guard comes to me trying to act all authoritative with me and not paying attention to what I'm saying. Everybody's out to get him, and I sorta feel his thing, I'd go bonkers too if everyone was out to get me.

If you guys don't understand that that's fine, you can keep b|tchin, but blame Reese for taking him over Rolle knowing he had a troubled past, don't be pissed at Jones for being what he's always been, blame the GM for "gambling" on him, along with his long line of bad drafts (just had to toss that in there :grrhee: )
As TitanJeff said.... some good points, although I don't agree with the entire post.

Whether I'm drunk or not, if someone takes my wallet I'm gonna be pi$$ed and raise hell to get it back. In trying to get it back, if the "rent a cop" security guards turn the blame on me and want me to leave....I'm not gonna agree or want to take the blame.

With that said....
- Did he handle well?
NO
- Should he have kept his mouth shut?
YES
- If this happened to any other Titan (wallet taken, etc...) would they have raised hell?
YES
- Does he get more attention because of his history, and did he bring that scrutiny on himself?
YES

Sadly, he is one of the 3 best players on the team right now. We need him.
Fisher needs to "have balls" as someone said, but there is not much he can do until he is convicted / aquitted.

Besides, the police come out and cleared him of any involvement in the matter, why won't you?
You're right. Pac is a victim of being at the wrong place at the wrong time and has no control of stuff that happens around him.

Years ago, it seemed like the same thing kept happening to me. My dad said to me, "Son, can't you see that your way isin't working?"
I changed my way of doing things after that, and the trouble that seemed to be following me left.

Drunk and stupid is no way to go through life. ;)

Listening to 104.5. They are talking to a reporter from channel 2.
This entire thing seems really "iffy". Several conflicting things such as...They did not even do a breathalizer or sobriety test. So how can they charge him with PI? He was told to leave and yelled at the PRIVATE SECURITY GUARDS from the car as it was pulling away. That is when a policeman stopped the car and he was arrested. Since when is that an "arrestable" offense?

Not sure about Tenn but CA you can be assumed impaired and arrested. If it is so noticeable or the liquor is on your breath you are caught. The tests are usually just a CYA for the cop. Shouting profanity in public is considered disturbing the peace. It does not take much especially shouting threats or profanity out a moving vehicle.

"Assumed impaired" could be. I don't know?
The guys on 104.5 the Zone (Plaster, Donnick, & McFarland), who are NOT PacMan fans, actually seem to leaning to the PacMan side on this one.

I think his bad temper, which was fueled even more by alcohol last night, may be the problem in this case. If he was kicked out for raising hell about his wallet being stolen, I'm sure he was pissed. But he has to have some control.

I hope Tennessee never issues Pacman a carry permit. You know what happens when you mix a temper with small arms. Imagine Pacman taking a gun with him everywhere he goes.

This jail-thingy is just crazy. The way I see it, it's worse to show up drunk in front of an club, than to use illegal, performance enhanment drugs.
It's not okay to show naked people on TV, but it's okay to own a gun and shoot someone in "selfdefense".
And it's okay to pretend to be stupid and claim that you didn't know that cigarettes/junk food/younameit was bad for your healt and sue the concerned companies for billions of dollars.

Let's move the NFL to a country with a decent moral code, where fun is allowed and stupidity is not being encouraged.
