Dallas, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Giants, and Cincinnati. Those are the five teams the Ravens have beaten during their five-game winning streak to end the season. Those are the teams they've supposedly fixed their offense against.

In their previous fives games they were 1-4 against the Colts, Pittsburgh(2x), New England, and Tennessee.

I am not one bit afraid.

Ravens and Jackson are the NFLs darlings...they don't scare me either.

Perhaps you forgot, we lost (pretty decidedly) to 2 of those teams in Cincy and Cleveland, that they beat fairly easily. I think we match up best with the Ravens out of all the playoff team, but with this defense of suckage, I harbor no illusions that we couldnt lose this game pretty easily. If the defense were ever so slightly more reliable at getting to the QB and stopping drives on 3rd down I would feel confident, but they arent and I dont unfortunately.

The optimist in me says the D can step up and make some critical stops in the end. I am hoping they play bend, don't break and give up FG's instead of TD's and get a couple of takeaways. The realist in me says that the D won't give the O enough chances to outscore the Ravens and this will be another terrible home playoff loss to the Ravens. Here's hoping that trends are made to be broken!!!! TitanUp!!!

Valid point but is our defense any better than any of those teams outside of Jacksonville? I’m not so sure.

Can’t afford to continue to start slow. Gotta make the Ravens play from behind and force Lamar to throw often.

When the Ravens are elite is when they have a lead and can just kill the clock. They ran over 50 times week 17 for over 400 yards.

The REFS back to back BS calls and obvious missed calls ... This worries me more than our Defense.
So true...how different the games outcomes would be without the bs calls?
Our D still needs to improve and step up but without those missed/bad calls things would have looked different

Exactly my point, by now we know what we are going to see from the Defense. But these damn REFS are the ones who are screwing around with the games outcome.

Bad calls have played a part but can't discount how bad our D has been...no bad calls, our offense hides the D more doesn't fix it

There’s also a head to head matchup, so no need to look at common opponents.

We breaking a dick off in them.

I almost wonder if our lack of pass rush helps against teams like Baltimore and Buffalo. Keep Allen and Lamar in the pocket and force them to beat you with their arm instead of their legs while taking away deep shots.

The home team has lost all 4 play-off meetings. 3x the home team was the #1 seed. However, the favored team has also lost all 4 meetings.

So.... since Titans are home, but the Ravens are favored let's go with the under dog always wins!

In addition, top NFL rusher has always beaten the #1 run offense in the playoffs. This happened in the Titans/Ravens game last season.

One way or the other, something will give this time.

Baltimore isn’t one the hottest teams going into the playoffs because the offense got better. They are doing to the exact same thing they have been doing all year. The difference is the schedule got easier. It’s just that simple.

Our problem on defense is lack of a pass rush. We do pretty good against the run. Load the box like every freaking team did against us when we had Mariota and force him to throw it deep. He will turn it over. We just need to get in his head. He has averaged 93 yards passing against us in last 2 games.

Just sell out to stop the run. Make him throw it 25 times. He isn’t any good at it.
