I guess I’m not surprised no press conference on the coordinators. Titans are laying very low on these hires.
Imagine this defense without Butler playing as well as he did.
It can get worse.

our biggest issue on defense was injuries paired with non performing free agent pass rush. Not giving Vrabel or Bowen a pass but I think they just struggled with our vulnerabilities with obviously is a scheme issue, the coaching didn't has enough experience/knowledge to overcome our shortcomings.
Watching our D compared to some of the better/more creative D's this past season was like watching two different sports. The only way a vanilla scheme like we ran is going to work is if you have elite playmakers at all 3 levels, even then you're way better off mixing it up.
Our division is likely going to have 3 new qb's, at least one of which is going to be a rookie. Wouldn't it be great that on top of learning their new system they had to decipher our D too?

True, 0 players playing well would be worse than 1 player playing well lol.Imagine this defense without Butler playing as well as he did.

Man y’all are wild. Let’s cut Butler, trade Lewan. Cut adoree, cut Humphries, cut vaccaro. All so we can go out and sign some FA’s who may or may not be better than what we have?
Blowing up the team after going 11-5 is a weird stance.

Keyword is someONE.
Wanting to trade and/or multiple top players on our team is ridiculous.
simple math
No simple math is realizing you cut player(s)who aren’t performing up to their contracts. Not key pieces to our success.
Currently almost half the league is over the projected cap for 2021.
Humphries is not worth what we are paying him.No simple math is realizing you cut player(s)who aren’t performing up to their contracts. Not key pieces to our success.
Neither is Vacarro
And if some team is willing to give us 2 1sts for Lewan it would be see ya daddy.
Butler, Byard, etc.. restructure
What key pieces to our success are you talking about?
The league needs to give some kind of exceptions for this season. This is going to hurt a lot of teams.
There were two ideas I saw when we found out 2020 was on. Let the effects of 2020 crap on one year of football or stretch it out over 10 yrs.The league needs to give some kind of exceptions for this season. This is going to hurt a lot of teams.
We can sabotage the cap once, or let 2020 linger for 10 yrs at about $2M a yr..
Which do you prefer..?
I definitely dont prefer a 20mil cap loss in a single season. There were two ideas I saw when we found out 2020 was on. Let the effects of 2020 crap on one year of football or stretch it out over 10 yrs.

Humphries doesn’t provide cap relief. Vaccaro doesn’t free up hardly any either.
Trading Lewan is probably a dumb idea. You know how difficult it is to get a franchise LT? And y’all complained about how the Ravens dominated our OL in the playoff game but want to trade one of the key pieces of our offense?
Butler was our best defensive player last year. Idk why you want to cut him either.
No team is going to give us 2 first round picks for Lewan.Humphries is not worth what we are paying him.

29 years old, just did an ACL, history or injury and suspension.
You have to designate them post june-1 cuts then they save us $7.25M and $5.4MHumphries doesn’t provide cap relief. Vaccaro doesn’t free up hardly any either.
so thats worth talking about considering both did little to nothing for us and we're $7M over the cap today

Key word in my statement is IF
Lewan wouldnt have stopped that domination.Humphries doesn’t provide cap relief. Vaccaro doesn’t free up hardly any either.
