Last week people were planning super bowl parades, this week people want to kill themselves.
Yeah, I think last week looked better than we really are, and this week we looked worse than we really are. I think we'll get better as the year goes on. As long as Mariots doesn't get hurt. Oline has to play better and so does the defense as a whole.

Yeah, Mariota made plays in the 2nd half... but lets be realistic here; The Browns had already taken thier feet off the gas, and stopped bringing as much pressure. The 2nd half was about not loosing the game, and did just enough to win the game. I know the coaches were screaming at Johnny not to make the big mistake.

As for the 1st half... it's the same old song and dance from last season... Big penalties, where they put themselves in the hole to which they can't recover. I don't see any improvement in that area.

As for Marcus, anyone can see he's going to be a good player. However, when you have a cast of idiots making bone-headed moves, around you.. Well, there's only so much one can do.
uuuuhhh.... 6-7 SACs with tons of blitzes says that the brownie D did not let up.

totally kept the pressure on MM

I love Titans football, but it's days like this that I wish football didn't exist.

To lose to Manziel over 2 Texas A&M heaves is downright depressing.

No, the Browns definitely didn't let up. We changed our scheme up and started having some success with the run which opened things up and took some of the pressure off of Marcus. Too bad we didn't make that adjustment earlier in the game.

I was literally sick with the way they were playing in the 1st half, the Titans of Ole. MM was brutally beaten up but was a warrior till the end. The OL and our CB's are so bad they've pretty much become a joke. If Warmack is out for awhile, we are screwed.

Today's O line performance would have even made the great Tom Brady look bad too. I was really disappointed about them, plus the momentum killing penalties. Too much to overcome
Mariota held on to it too long today as well. He was being too careful because his wrs weren't wide open like last week and in college. This is something he's going to have to adjust to. Giving his wrs chance to make plays.

Also he looked rattled in the first half from getting hit. It affected his accuracy and decision making ability.

Mariota already has half the touchdowns VY had when he won OROY. I think MM has a decent shot of breaking 30 passing TD this year.

I was thinking the same when his passes in the first half were to high, behind the receivers, or right to the defenders. I'm kind of glad that we lost this game and early. Now he gets to chew on this loss and think about it a bit. This might of been the best thing to happen to him this season.

17 was pretty real turrible as a gunner also. overran the PR every time.
What is he even doing out there? Surely there's a backup LB or CB that's on the bench they could put in his spot. He just ran down there and didn't even chase the guy.

Whoever said the Browns let up clearly didn't watch the game.

It's not like the game was out of reach.

As crazy as it may seem, it was our first drive that pinned us so far back by needing 20 yards for the first down deep in our territory. It's like we never recovered, as far as field position goes. This is the sole reason why I HATE with a passion getting the ball first to start the game. A 3 and out on your first drive from the 20 can be extremely dangerous and give the other team easy access to an easy score.

Agree with this. Get this ugly loss out of the way. Learn and improve.

Got to give mariota credit. The dude hung in there and brought us back within striking dustance. Good to see hm come back from really bad adversity . He grows from this game. He is a rookie. The play that killed us today was the punt return for TD right before half. That made it 3 TD instead 14-0. Big difference
