This alone says he really doesn't want to be a Titan or a Pat.

ESPN's Dianna Russini reports free agent DeAndre Hopkins is "trying to get more teams interested" after visits with the Titans and Patriots.

Or maybe the offers aren't the level he expects? He likely wants OBJ money. It's unlikely us or NE are offering close to that. Probably some sort of incentive laden contract.

OBJ went to a run first team in Baltimore, even before Lamar signed his extension. Why? Because they offered the money he was looking for and other teams weren't.

Maybe not enough Ostarine in the contract??? I mean it is possible...

I read that as a money, not team statement.

Only 2 teams interested (so far) doesn’t generate a lot of demand, TN specifically is a little strapped for cap, don’t know NE.

Should've drafted Mayer with our 2nd round pick, as he would've put up better stats for us than Hopkins.

Get our QB of the future in Ewers with our 1st round pick and drafted us a WR in the 24 2nd round to team up with Burks, Mayer and Chig.

Don't listen to 82.

It's simple. The market is dry because he's coming off a steroid suspension, poor health, and poor production. Who really wants to dip their toes in all that. On his side of the equation, he doesn't really want to play here, nor should he. Not only has it proven to be career suicide here, but the Titans have also shown the door to anyone at the position looking for a payday. Couple that together and we are just pawn in his story.

If we are his last resort, which could happen, I wouldn't even do it. Do we really want someone who doesn't want to be here in a position where the opportunity to succeed is minimal. Don't think so. That's not in our culture no matter how desperate we are.
