But you don’t blame Watson, you blame the woman?
Of course I’d hold Watson accountable if he really did what was alleged. But he says these claims baseless. I think the whole thing is shady, that Watson ordered a home massage, this “service” was performed in a provocative manner, Watson was confused and thought this might be an escort type arrangement etc..... and that is purely my speculation based off my perception of “home massages”.

the truth of the incidents lies somewhere between what they are alleging and what Watson is stating. It will get sorted out as valid or not if it ever makes it to a real courtroom. But Watson is a public figure. And damages occur immediately to public figures in the court of public opinion. So it likely gets settled.

now consider that, in addition to Watson’s recent issues with the Texans organization, the proximity of the plaintiffs attorney to Texans ownership, and the use of social media to divulge these claims to the public. It all wreaks of an old time beaver trap “smear” tactic to coerce DW into paying up to make it go away and/or reaching some other undisclosed agreement satisfactory to the interested parties driving these allegations. DW has a good reputation outside of these allegations. At this point, I find him more credible than “home masseuses”. And again- I’m not a DW fan. What happens I really don’t care. I just don’t like to see anybody get worked over by sleazy old school-coercive tactics which is what this appears as to me.

I don't know if these allegations are true or not but why did it take this long to come out? And if Watsons name is going to be mentioned they should name the women in the cases. IF he is innocent why should his name be dragged through the mud and they hide?

One of them is willing to fly from Atlanta to Houston for a massage? Come on....

That's what trips me out too. All of this now, and a masseuse at that? And out of nowhere he's like I wanna hire you AND fly you to Houston to massage my groin.....what a s### storm the new head coach walked into with his mouth open.

One incident from Mar 2020, and the other in Nov or Dec 2020? When did Watson sign his mega deal? Lol

Watson went from 1 accuser to 6 overnight. Big Ben got 4 games in 2010 for 1 that was settled and 1 that was recanted and dropped.

This guy is never playing for Houston again, and might not play for another team for quite awhile.

I was in DW’s camp when this started but 6 women claiming sexual assault is pretty alarming. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

The 2 lawyers involved are the 2 most prolific lawyers in Houston. If it goes to court it’ll be a showdown for sure.

I don’t have a dog in that fight either. Don’t really care. I just think what is really going on that DW is getting baked by some of McNair’s cronies in the court of public opinion. There may some old people with mobility issues that have to have a “home massage therapy” but young males ordering up home massage is a different (and shady) service.
In this case it may be shady... But at home massages are a thing. I know there are some that offer such a service in my small hometown in TN...so it can't be that uncommon.

Again, for a pro athlete to have someone come in to his home for a massage seems like it would be a very common thing. Now, flying random no-name masseuse from all over the country does seem pretty sketchy. Plus all of the accusations keep piling up, so maybe there is fire with the smoke here.

My only point was that people get massages at home all the time. It's not uncommon or necessarily a shady thing to happen.

Ya'll talk about home massage being shady... what about a pro qb with millions upon millions that has some fetish with massage therapists?

Why not go get a girlfriend or hire a real escort service....

I get the whole neighbor thing and there are also plenty of people who claim things for money.

But what benefit would McNair get out of setting this all up? It plummets the trade value, potentially suspends his best player, and doesn’t make Deshaun want to play for Houston anymore than he already does (which is what the team wants. They want him to play). I just don’t see a legit motive to try and set this up.

Not only that but if McNair were caught he would 100% be forced to sell the team. I can understand why people might see that angle but when you break it down I just don’t see how there’s any benefit for the team in this.

Now that doesn’t mean Watson is guilty. This easily could be someone trying to get money from him that has nothing to do with the McNair’s. Everyone in Houston knows Tony Buzbee so the neighbor thing could be a total coincidence. High profile people live by high profile people.

Absolutely nothing. There is no way the Texans are behind this. For all the reasons you said, plus, they would never sign another free agent. Players aren't going to play for a franchise who would pull something like this.

Deshaun has always seemed like a likeable guy, but at this point, I am betting that we end up seeing there is quite a bit of truth to these allegations (though I could be wrong).

If this was an inside job it would be the single biggest sports story in our lifetime. It would literally make the Houston Texans organization crumble to the ground. I just don’t see that as being a realistic possibility. But I’ll wait and see how it plays out.

With all the complaints now.. it just doesnt make sense to me at all.

If Watson is that into massages, why doesnt he have his own massage therapist at this point... If he is wanting a hooker, why doesnt he just hire a handful of strippers. It is clear he is calling, thats pretty proven, something just seems weird about that to me.

Looks like some kind of fetish. It’s very weird behavior. There are 9 and they are taking and vetting 4 more. The NFL has officially opened an Investigation and the Harris County DA is rumored to be now deciding whether to look into it. It’s bad no matter how you look at it. He did something at minimum very stupid and at worst repulsive and criminal. There is an established pattern now.

Well, since he reached a higher number than Gov. Cuomo, cuomo’s resignation can stay in the drawer for the time being.

Watson (won’t dare continue using DW due to the slight on DW) is in big trouble with this many. Proof aside, 9 is going to be very difficult to disprove n a “he said, she said” court case.

this all just makes that commerical he's in about Next Gen stats 5x more awkward..

"What? You think a little toe tickle is gonna stop me?... C'mon now...."

We haven't heard Watson's side other than these claims baseless.

This is a smear campaign for settlement money. Maybe McNair has had a conversation with Buzbee, doesn't matter. I'm sure McNair has indirectly communicated to Watson in some fashion he can help this all go away if DW just toes the Texans line.

You've a young star NFL QB who has utilized "home masseuse" services. Even flown a particular person out for service. The "home masseuse" industry may be only about massage therapy with some clients, but it is a shady business with celebrities. It is frequently a front for service along the same lines as the "escort" industry. I don't doubt some rub and tug was going on. DW just wasn't careful enough about what he did and who he did it with. It really is that simple.

We'd hear all the details except they involve DW having to admit he was frequently utilizing the "happy ending" of the home masseuse. And now each of these masseuse's story is "he rubbed me inappropriately....." "he made it where I felt I had NO choice but to give him oral sex....." etc. And the media would like to portray him as somebody who preys on "vulnerable young women". I'd suggest the nature of the "home masseuse" business is equally to prey upon vulnerable young men who get confused about the limits of the service.

DW has a record of great community service. And when he speaks, he's articulate and sounds to me like a young man committed to his profession and being a good citizen and team member. He just wants out of the Texans. I find him more credible that professional "home masseuses" who could at any time in the encounter leave.
