You don’t break a bone from overuse. It’s just a freak injury. His workload in previous weeks did not contribute to his injury. This could have happened on his first carry of the season.
He absolutely is built different. This does not change that. Injuries are apart of the game.

I love how people blindly claim its overuse, go look at how many carries he had in high school (1,397) and college (602) compared to how many he has for the six seasons with the Titans...(1,480)

As a fan of this franchise for over thirty years, I would like for them to win at least one superbowl in my lifetime.

Agree to disagree lol I’d take the Titans winning a super bowl over Henry having 3 rushing titles or two 2k seasons in a heartbeat! Who remembers stats or useless awards without looking them up? They play for championships not stats. The 2k is neat but how many people outside of Titans fans know who CJ is or remember that season? Probably none.

This really sucks! King Henry was having a great year, well on his way to a historic year!
But what makes this even worse is that he is the engine that drives this offense. He is not replaceable. We are REALLY needing Julio to get going now more than ever.

Not trying to be pessimistic but the biggest change our offense is going to have to make if we’re going to be successful without Henry is giving Tanny better pass blocking. If we’re going to air it out more, which I would hope we do, and make our offense less one dimensional, our o line is going to have to step it up more than anyone because it seems like for every 8-10 pass attempts Tanny has he gets sacked or pressured to throw an INT. I’m really really doubtful in our offense now since they were so exposed last year in games like GB or Baltimore where once Henry was a non-factor, Tanny and the pass game couldn’t make up for it. Hope Downing and Keith Carter can step it up to have a scheme against this happening again over these next 8 weeks
