Thor was pretty decent, but after a while it seemed like the comedy was extremely forced and not as natural as previous marvel films.. maybe it's just me

some good moments nonetheless

Daddy's Home 2 was non stop laughing beginning to end, def worth the price of admission... And Im not usually one to go out and spend money at the cinema for comedies, but this was pretty real good movie..

Disney is in talks with FOX to buy most, if not all, their film division. Maybe all media?

X-Men would return to Marvel, curious about how that will turn out.

Even bigger... what does this mean for Star Wars? Disney owns the rights to Star Wars from "this point on". They may own the release rights to the original films if they buy Fox.

IF this occurs... would Disney release a cleaned up but "unchanged version of the original trilogy?

God I hope so... haven't bought the movies, holding out hope for a good release of the originals. I have until my kids are ready to watch them.

" I have until my kids are ready to watch them."

Don't be hurt or surprised if you find that you can't force your own nostalgia on them.
Not forcing anything. They want to see them... but he's not even 3. I want them to be able to understand even the simple things going on. Few more years.

I'm keeping them from seeing them, frankly.

Okay, fine, but.... you're telling me that you know your two-year-old wants to see 'Star Wars'?
Yes.

I don't parade it around... but immediately identifies the music and when he catches a glimpse, an image or picture, he immediately yells out "star wars!"

In all seriousness... I'm a pretty low-ky star wars fanboy. People have no idea I'm a fan unless it comes up in conversation.

Weren't these talks held awhile ago and went no where?

Yes.

I'm the same way except people know I'm a Star Wars fan , just not to the extent I am quietly. Get me to talking about anything Star Wars outside the EU and that conversation might go on for awhile.
