I just got Marley and Me on DVD. It's a little different than than the commercials make it out to be. Not really about the Dog. It has funny and serious moments.

Nice family movie to watch with your older kids.

Duplicity - It's movies like this that make me question spending $18 on movie tickets. Unoriginal, unfunny, and unworthy of my money.

i havent payed for a movie in 5 years, if you know what im sayin.

I haven't paid for a movie in about 2 years... but that's because I know people at theaters and get in for free.

I can get in free at Hollywood 27, Green Hills, Opry Mills, and Bellevue... The Cool Springs theater is the nicest, but I can't ever get in for free there. It's a damn shame.

Anyone been to the new theater in Hendersonville? It's awesome.

Darn..
Having only been to a couple of the theaters around town (I live about 5 feet from the Cool Springs theater so I inevitably always go there) I was hoping some of the other theaters were nicer than Cool Springs as that theater is getting pretty ragged out..

Green Hills has a great theatre. Just got back from there. I love you, man was great.

I just got back from that movie as well... Green Hills is the closest to me, but I had to go to the Carmike 8 in Bellevue because my friends wanted to go there. Still got in free

It was seriously the funniest movie I've seen in a long time.

Cool Springs is the nicest theater within my tolerable radius of driving... The theater in Hendersonville is probably the nicest theater I've been to.

I remember going to Hollywood 27 when it opened... it was the biggest theater in the US and it was awesome. Now, I hate going there. It is overrun by thugs, and someone slashed my tires last time I saw a movie there.

That you have no life outside your home?

I'm to cheap to pay for movies, i get them online free the next day.

And im also to cheap to go out and eat at a nice place. I'll grab some Taco Bell and head home. My wife forces me out to eat about once a year. And i still order a burger and fries at a steak house. lol she hates it.

Changeling

Strong subject matter but at times I felt Eastwoods style of directing was a little too understated.A very good film but I think it needed a bit more tension/angst.

Sexy Beast (2000). A British gangster film starring Ray Winstone (The Departed, The Proposition), Ben Kingsley, and Ian McShane (Deadwood). Fairly simple premise with excellent execution. "Gal" Dove (Winstone) plays a retired safe cracker, happily living with his wife in Spain. Don Logan (Kingsley), a friend and former cohort, wants him to sign him to a 1 shot deal so to speak. Dove does not want to. Intense violence and hilarious negotiations ensue. The film is carried by some very intense performances, namely by the leads. Highly recommended.

Cruds, are you a Phantasm fan by chance? You just seem like the sort of guy who would be in league with the Tall Man...

If there was one celebrity I'd REALLY like to meet, I think it would be Angus Scrimm.

I am in league with the Tall Man! One of the flicks that freaked me out when I was a kid. I've hung with Reggie Bannister a few times - cool guy!

Reggie was one of my favorite movie heroes as a kid (hell, still is). Cool to know he's a nice guy in real life. It's a shame that Phantasm V was debunked not too long ago by Reggie himself.
