That interception was Malik’s fault. Whyle is 6’7” with a 33” vertical and was wide open and he had to leap up and it went off his finger tips. That ball sailed.

The fumble was a combination of Whyles fault and an absolutely perfect hit to knock the ball loose.

I still have confidence Whyle will be a big time playmaker for us.

Yeah the Willis pass did look a tad high even for someone of Whyles height. The hit and fumble was a perfect play/technique by the defense , true

Have to give Josh Wyhle a break he is also a rookie.

Malik put to much heat on his pass but still that's not an excuse especially for a TE he needs to get use to fast passes and catching while getting hit.

People really need to quit saying “ too much heat”. That’s bullshit in the NFL. It was a screen pass. It was 15ish yards downfield. Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen, Burrow all throw hard into tight windows, which this wasn’t. You start floating passes they get intercepted or you miss the window. Throwing darts is what Willis is supposed to do. Wyhle missed a TD there. Just say what it is. Wyhle screwed up. It’s not on Willis, at all.

Not necessarily a TD, definitely an opportunity for a TD. He was on the 8ish yard line. Probably enough room to turn and run it in, but not guaranteed. Either way, Malik threw a bad pass that should have been caught.

If it was a bad pass how should it have been caught?
Whyle didn't make enough effort to go get it..it wasn't too high, too hard...not on Willis at all
