I never thought he would honestly. Even had his agent told him too, he just seems like one of those guys with too much integrity to do it.
This makes me think RB may not be as high of a draft priority. We still need a backup and possibly a 2021 replacement. But we no longer need a 2020 contingency
Schefter just made a great point about all the franchise guys signing quickly. With so much uncertainty in the world, that guaranteed money is huge right now.

I never thought a hold out was coming this year. It is rare for a player to do when tagged the first time. Much more common on the second. Turning down ten mill for a 2nd round pick would be dumb...doing it next year after you just put 10 in the bank makes more sense...still hard to do.
I still doubt it. But maybe they can agree to a deal.

I've enjoyed watching those 3...and hoping to continue to see Henry as a Titan

Yes. Yes they did. We're going to do the same thing to Henry, which is exactly why we shouldn't give him a long-term deal.
His future contract is compensation for his production moving forward, not what he did late in 2018 and 2019.
Learn from the past.
Which is why all contracts should be a base salary with incentives..none of these huge deals before they prove a damn thing...play well get paid well
