It looked like he was saying that Cooper was traded for basically the same thing as Woods which would be a Titans getting ripped off comment since Cooper is hands down better than woods, it’s not close but the trade details would make it seem close.I think Yates was just making a trade comparison. Cooper isn't coming here. Austin Hooper is.
Which players are you referring to? Just wonderingI’d like to be more excited about this, but the ACL tempers it. We haven’t had a single player come back the next year and match previous productivity with this injury. At least the cost was minimal, but he isn’t a day one wr #2 this season in my opinion. I sincerely hope I’m wrong, but the cuts and change of direction will be slow to come around.
I think they will probably take OL, but we'll see what other moves they make ahead of the draft.Nobody really thinks this is going to happen, do they?
We lost to legitimate bottom feeders when we were down Brown and Julio last season - worst depth in the league and that is still the case after the Woods trade. Not gonna cut it in the revamped AFC. Plus it will take some time for Woods to be close to 100%

The fact that he loved the idea of playing for the Titans is always a good thing. Let’s hope he can be a solid contributor.

Woods, 30, coming off ACL

Yes it very well could happen
They'll draft one early. Brown is on his last year.Brown

Woods is a great all around WR and a very good route runner. Remember JRob and Vrabel have both mentioned we have to be able to win vs man coverage. Woods should be able to do that. AJ likes the move as well so that’s a plus.
The way WR salaries are going we're going have to shell out 25 million per year for Brown...can't see us doing that..being a "running team" and allThey'll draft one early. Brown is on his last year.
It could, but the disappointment when it doesn't is going to be annoying. We waited until the 2nd round for Brown when WR was arguably a bigger need. I wouldn't be disappointed at all to see Burks on the team, but I'm thinking OL is inevitable.Brown

Jrob loves him some guys coming off injury. At least this one was a bargain for a solid WR.

The Michigan LB who was injured at his pro day, Ojabo, is right up JRob's alley
I'd love to have AJ Brown long term, but I'm afraid Jrob and co might steer clear of a huge contract because of his injury history. He's been productive but he's been struggling with knee injuries for 2 + years now. It's hard to have faith that his body will hold up at this point. The way WR salaries are going we're going have to shell out 25 million per year for Brown...can't see us doing that..being a "running team" and all
So we get a starting TE and WR 2 for $20m, that's the same amount Julio was going to make this year
Another move I love. If we could have found a way to sign James Washington as a downfield threat I think our wr corps would look pretty damn good. Hope we can still find a way to add a field stretching wr.
Just read that nothing is guaranteed after this year. So in essence it's a one year deal with team options going forwardGood trade value and a solid player, but woof, that's a rough contract. No doubt Rams would of just cut him. Hopefully he restructures? Doubt it though.

Yep. And that gives a lot of flexibility for a restructure if needed.
Yes it does. We will have to do something soon. We are 5 million over the cap(if the cap was real that is). I'd imagine a Tannehill or Lewan restructure is upcoming.Yep. And that gives a lot of flexibility for a restructure if needed.
