It would be like 15 pages long at best.
Of people asking "do you watch [show]" and then nothing else.
Flash was once again pretty good tonight
It was a good episode, minus them not knowing how lasers work.
Patty Spivot though. Barry better be tapping that.
Also, that's the set up for the new firestorm for Legends of Tomorrow series
Also, that is totally Eobard Thawne\Reverse Flash Wells at the end
suck it Cruds[/spoilers]

Welp all you have to do is look at the genesis of this thread to know that isn't the case. And of course there were multiple other TV threads that ran pretty well until this became the TV bin - then subsequently the CW bin.
I just fail to see how the superhero show talk is preventing discussion of other shows. Seems to me if people want to discuss them then they will. Hell, the only other show more than 1 or 2 people even seem remotely interested in discussing is WD. Maybe AHS as well?
I know when I click on these generic, catch-all threads like this I get fully caught up and don't just go directly to the last page/few posts. If people won't bother to read more than the very last page that's on them imo.

All an artifact of stuff that has already happened.
This of course is not a discussion of national security etc - but yes, superhero shows have squeezed out running discussions about other shows and it would literally be no sweat off anyone's nose if superheros had their own thread. But that requires some cooperation of the SH gang, who seem to be willing to expend far more energy making sure it doesn't happen.
Whatever. It is what it is..

I would post in the supehero tv show thread if there were one. I just doubt the discussion would end up actually staying there 100%. I mean we had a WD thread once upon a time but now that discussion has naturally migrated here as well.
At the end of the day this is a TV show thread, not a "All shows except superhero/WD" thread. So I just don't see how you're gonna totally keep out a particular show, or type of show.

The herd follows the lead cow. If SH thread gets game it would flow organically.
Same with TV otherwise.
Go ahead and start it and we'll give it a shot.
Do you have proxy for Gunny, XO, 520 and the bunch?
You may recall this was tried recently and they got a good laugh out of killing it off.
The thread is here: SUPERHEROES
So I gave up on the Flash, recently seen it was on Netflix so I gave it another shot.
Actually surprised, it's a good show for being the CW. Still haven't watched Arrow lol

Holy cow this is bizarre.
Look...this is a forum made up mostly of young male sports fans. Television is mostly made up of reality shows, talent competitions and teenage vampire soft porn along with a couple of SH shows. Then there's cable content, which people with lives don't bother to write a check for. Seriously, what discussion would you expect there to be here? If this were the GoKnit macrame forum or the GoVacuum home economics forum I'm sure there would be a wider variety of shows and show subjects but this is GoTitans football forum.

It started off rough but got really good the 2nd half of the season. It has a very predictable format from week to week (Flash meets new villain, gets his @$$ kicked, goes back to the base and regroups, then beats said villain). But it still manages to be a fun show.So I gave up on the Flash, recently seen it was on Netflix so I gave it another shot.

Arrow S1&2 are great. Lately it's been on a downward trend.
Your comment about cable content proves you're simply out of touch with the final domain of excellence in dramatic entertainment.
And just because you've decided that those of us willing to "cut that check" have no lives, means we shouldn't expect be able to discuss TV of a different ilk than The CW ?
Yes, this is a football forum first and foremost - but this forum also has an entire section designated for TV/Movies. A section a few folks including you and I visit pretty much on a daily basis.
Given that, why would it be surprising someone would bring up separate TV threads to accommodate folks who like superhero shows and separately folks who like stuff that isn't?
And you ask why what discussion should I expect? Welp considering that 4 or 5 people have separately brought up The Leftovers (of course not knowing it had been mentioned previously then buried by pages of superhero stuff) maybe we'll talk about The Leftovers - or even have continuing seasonal discussion like we once did before the trendy superhero culture took over..

All of a sudden Cinemax is cranking out the good stuff.
This looks very interesting..

That took five minutes..
I don't like super hero stuff either man, you are not alone
I'm not posting about tv shows in any other thread but this one.
Stop being a girl Cruds.

I didn't like Season 3 but have really enjoyed this season so far. Agreed about Flash, glad both shows are expanding now.
