Season 2 was cut off by me after like two episodes. It's was ass.

Odds are reportedly that Hulu picks these shows up in a year or two. Disney owns a chunk of Hulu and won't be putting R Rated content on their streaming service so yo Hulu they go.

Disney better come up with some Disney+/Hulu combo deal.
Hmmm... maybe. From what I've read, they are categorizing their content. So, they could do that.

You don't have to pay to get everything, just Marvel stuff, just Star Wars stuff...

Oh word. I just need the kids stuff and Marvel.

Star Wars sucks they can keep that.

The thing about JJ S2 is that it wasn't about her as much as it was about Jeri Hogarth and the origin of Wildcat (who seems to be set up as a villain). Both of those stories were much more interesting than the story about JJ's mother.

Feel like JJ s2 and DD s3 were setups for future villains.

For sure Bullseye was; Trish "Hellcat" Walker (not Wildcat, my bad) could go either way:
Scenario 1- show goes it's own way and makes Hellcat a straight up primary villain for what she did at end of S2. Unfortunately this would look too much like Punisher Redux.

Scenario 2: JJ and TW bury the hatchet and team up to battle a drug ring that causes metahuman powers, maybe led by the doctor that treated Trish. Is this the same guy treating Luke Cage, Diamondback and Bullseye?.. .. dunno.

My wife has been trying to get me to watch Atlanta for awhile. Finally caved. 4 episodes in and really digging it. IDK what I was expecting but I didn't know it was gonna be this funny.

True Detective Season 3 wrap-up aspired to tug at the heartstrings and it did to an extent. Stephen Dorff stole the show the entire season IMO and didn't get much credit along the way. Saw a couple folks who were livid over Hays' final scene relating to Lucy. Did they watch the same show as me? Of course that's how it had to end.

Are you sure you meant Lucy and not someone else?

Tried to watch it. Way too fake and over the top for my tastes. I think they have a quota to use 1million N-words per episode.

Hmmm.... I wonder if that was just a particular episode you watched. I've finished the whole series now and never once thought to myself "they sure do use the N word a lot". I mean it's definitely there but it didn't seem out of line with the culture in general. It is about a couple dudes in Atlanta trying to make it in the rap game after all.

Fair enough though. It's definitely not gonna be for everybody.

Needs more 'splosions.

As an example, after being bailed out, Paper Boi is asking about bailing out his cousin and the lady working at the desk says "N--- this ain't no movie".
So a government employee is calling people "N"... that is a lawsuit in any real life situation.

For the other person... I grew up in Memphis. Lived in a neighborhood 80+% black, went to a school 90% black. Work for the health department and spend almost all of my work time in the worst neighborhoods in Memphis. Yes, I am aware of the culture, but I still will say it is over the top, like my example above shows.

Just finished season three of "True Detective" and thought it was extremely well-done.

Watching "Barry", season one, now and not sure what I think about it. I think I have a mental block still seeing Hader as Stefon. Big Stephen Root fan so going to stick with it a few episodes more.

I'm needing recommendations for a good crime drama series on Netflix.
