BB was great, but I'll never understand people thinking it's the pinnacle of television. Hell, BCS is a superior show.

If GoT delivered on the promise of the first six seasons it'd be one of the greatest shows ever made but they drove it off a cliff in seasons 7 and 8.
IMO it would have taken 20 years at the story telling pace they were on

yes last 2 seasons were fast paced cause they were aiming, for better or worse, on getting done with it while everyone still looked something like their characters

just my opinion man

Also I heard the writers of GoT got offered a full season, not just the 6 episodes but they wanted to be done with it.

I believe they are working on some of the new Star Wars movies which should be good.

I did think season 8 felt rushed and for the most part was not as exciting but it had its moments and I’m not mad at the way it ended.

they turned down multiple full seasons for this dog turd. i'm not sure why you'd be excited about them doing star wars unless george lucas is going to write it for them. they're retards when they have to come up with material.

anyway, Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman is one of the all time great television characters. i guess if you go into BCS wanting a continuation of breaking bad then yeah, you'll disappointed. if you want the best character study ever put to television, BCS is the show. the story of the brothers McGill is a heartbreaker.

George Lucas can't write... you're confusing him with Lawrence Kasdan.

The number 1 reason I was so upset about all the stupid sex scenes in GoT. If I wanted to watch porn, I have a pc, I can watch all the porn I want for free. I was watching GoT for the story, yet the wanted to waste 20 minutes per episode on the worst sex scenes you can come up with.

I was convinced that D&D were both gay because how terrible the sex scenes were.... How do you screw up a woman on woman sex scene? Have that creepy ass Littlefinger watching and talking through the entire scene...

So why comment as if you knew if you never watched it??
lol because I don't need to have seen it for the point i was making to be valid...

the entire point i was making was that GoT was an amazing show when they had someone else's material to film. once they had to start creating the material themselves, they were effed. i made a lazy assumption that lucas wrote star wars. just fill in whoever wrote it. doesn't matter if i've seen it.

star wars peeps are easily triggered.

lol wut? has this show even had a non-rape sex scene that showed anything in the last four seasons?

Graphic? Has there been a boob on the show since Cersei’s walk?
yes ...

without a doubt
as a for instance...
when Cersi wanted the future master of coin of the 6 kingdoms to kill the midget with the crossbow... future MoC was right in the middle of having his way with 3 chicks

I never watched it, but... I only ever heard complaints about what's taking too long in GoT is the appearance of the dragons.

The complaints I specifically recall were that there were too many storylines going at once, the main characters never interact with each other, episodes would go by without a single appearance of people's favorite character and of course something about dragons..
Prior to last season I recall reading show runners had taken all this under advisement and were going to move faster to a resolve things.

I agree that elements of the ending where sped over in FF mode, but I also understand they were really in a no win spot. HBO should have bought them 6 or 8 more hours for the fans - but even as rushed as it felt you gotta keep in mind the massive logistical challenge they faced with this show.

Most theatrical movies are about 90 minutes long. This season gave us three or four full-movie length episodes. Some of which were just massive. The biggest thing ever shown on TV. Amidst all the complaining, we still got this - for the monthly price of an HBO subscription.

I agree with that... heard a bigger complaint was ideas or storylines that didn't go anywhere.

Still the best throne in TV history
